Quietly, grimly, in agliyskom, silences the Strike, a bottle of whiskey... Okay, really, he always takes "a pint". The main character cormoran Strike is a former military man who at the confluence of painful circumstances is forced to sit "in reserve". And to his life had a purpose, it opens a small office. "Private detective K. a Strike."

Have no "super powers" for people criticized "Sherlock". Strike is investigating the case, talking to people, not without help Robin Ellacott (Holliday Granger). They create a tandem that behaves as a team of detectives. And you believe.

Ah, Yes. the Intrigue certainly is.

As I ideal for lovers of paintings, imbued with England, but not that trivial with Buckingham Palace, tower bridge and the Thames. The series shows the viewer the luxury apartments and is incredibly expensive boutiques on the streets of Britain, but it always returns the audience to the raw gate and dark streets.

Series comfortable, with its atmosphere, but don't think he was destined to hit.

Fashion British detectives is the same constant as interest the British Royal family. Miss Marple, Poirot, Foyle. It's nice that the British are trying to build "Midsomer murders" in a modern format (which confirms the popularity of the eponymous detective). A great example are detectives Robert Galbraith (alter ego J. K. Rowling, complimenting her a variety of talent will leave for another site).

Novels (now 4) and story private detective Cormorani Strike (his biography deserves a separate study) and its assistant Robin Ellacott that solve a variety of the genre of a criminal case (which the police drew attention, but traditionally,... not under angle).

To be honest, it is better to first read, and then see, because the author of the scenario has sent exactly, but very abstract and concise.

For those who really loves British detectives in any.

When in 2007, the year J. K. Rowling put an end to a series of books about Harry Potter fans (and with them and film producers) with impatience began to wait, when the beloved author will come up with new characters and run them in another long-running swimming. Six years later the shelves of bookstores appeared in "the cuckoo's Calling" and pretty fast for filename unknown Robert Galbraith was calculated "mother of Harry Potter". A part-time most influential woman in modern English literature. In these two year, followed by the continuation of the novel — "the Moth" and"In the service of evil," but now, Rowling is finishing her fourth book — "Lethal white".

Starting to think of the detective series the writer doesn't couldn't notice that the popularity of the cinema is falling, and in proportion to the growing public interest in the series. And the first book Rowling/Galbraith has started to build a narrative not as complete histories, but as a long-lasting fabric with character development and complicated relationships between them, dipping in their mysterious past and an extension of the surrounding world. In short, to create the basis for the present series on all the laws of television genre.

The main characters and books, and movies — private detective cormoran Strike and his assistant Robin Ellacott. Started as Secretary of the main character, to the third investigation Robin will grow in real Bloodhound, brave and smart. It You Dr. Watson, only shielding a sharp mind Sherlock Holmes.

Seven episodes of the series — three separate cases of Strike and Robin. First, the investigation is if suicide, and whether the murder of a dark-skinned supermodel. Then the action moved in the literary circles of London, and the brutal murder of the writer becomes a reason for Rowling to come off in colleagues, raising the dirt from the bottom of this mysterious world. And finally, the story of a modern Jack the Ripper, who decided to play with characters in the cat-and-mouse.

The series was made in the first to fans of Rowling's books, and because repeats the events of the novels Strike. All the main characters and plot twists the writers have kept and carefully transferred to the screen. Perhaps a more delicate approach to the literary source from the part of the founders of adaptation and I do not remember.

The individual success of the series, which can not be noted, were the performers of the main roles — Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger. The actors obviously had their roles not for beautiful eyes, and the role of Robin — not the similarity of name with the heroine of Harry Potter. The actors fit perfectly in their roles and just a couple of minutes after you start watching already it is impossible to imagine in these roles to someone else.

If the Robin on the screen is the same fearless and clever, which it describes Rowling, then the writers Strike and Michael Burke is the embodiment of the series a much more positive character than was he invented by the writer. From the coarseness of the book Kormoran on the screen almost nothing was left, while his addiction to alcohol remained unchanged at the adaptation of the books.

Speaking of the pros, one should not mention the disadvantage of the series, not allow to put it in one row with the masterpieces of TV detectives, like "true detective". Moreover, this disadvantage is directly linked with the literary source of "Strike". Rowling so became interested in building a loving relationship between Kormoranos and Robin (chemistry between the characters is obvious, and on the screen noticeable even stronger) that the detective aspect of the stories moved on the second plan. In the result of the investigation that lead the characters do not so intricate and celebrate as clever as used fans of Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle. At large, the criminals become the only reason to watch development of relations of the main characters. For this series a definite plus, but for the detective, alas, negative.
