Calm, measured series. Series on an hour and a half, so I sometimes broken view of one of them on two passes.

The first word that comes to mind when you thought about "Secrets of Brokenwood" — nice. The series is very suitable for to pass the evening.

Sufficiently described the process of investigation of the murders, not know how it close to reality.

The characters that main of secondary evoke sympathy, especially assistant chief of police and representatives of the indigenous population.

I thought he was very similar to "Death in Paradise" — investigate the local Department of police killings.

The only thing that I wonder these series, so that the number of murders in such a small town. All think they will soon become extinct. And why must killing always? Why not to investigate theft, fraud, robbery?

In General, Agatha Christie 21 first century, and on the screen, and not paper.

Provincial of the English detective with a smart a careful inspector, with intricate murders in the backdrop of local landscapes and peyzan in the fictional town of Brokenwood under the Auckland in New Zealand.

Classical slow modern British detective series, but only the scene shifted from the fictional English County of Midsomer on a almost directly opposite the ends of the earth. This locating the freshness not only makes the series easy to play, but opens and creators the opportunity to mercilessly beat until unhackneyed local flavor, and the viewer provides additional entertaining characteristic of reality, the characters, all the native details-features and, of course, the views and panorama. Interesting, picturesque and informative.

Essentially, almost different from the detective series metropolis — calm, sensible, quiet and considered the inspector reveals intricate crimes with the help of his young, loyal and nice staff and an outstanding physician-criminologist (here at the doctor for more exotic — Russian (played by probably Serbian) woman with gloomy tales of life in Russia). There are quite clear quote — retro zealous musical tastes of the main character. The inherited and mandatory inconsistencies in scenarios, and, in my opinion, they are more than the "original".

The intrigue in the plot is also present, removed and installed fine, the casting is good, play is acceptable. A decent middling cute, it looks easy and entertaining. Congratulations to the new Zealand Studio with success and I wish you continued.

Language. Speak clearly, and quite simply, one of the chips series, with a very funny regional accent — "tin" instead of "ten", for example. You can do without the captions.
