Here andΒ ended with one ofΒ the most touching, funny and pleasant series that explored the afterlife andΒ distribution showerΒ in a Good or Bad place. The series is soΒ called The Good Place.
You know, there are things in media that work likeΒ a bowl of chicken broth, only for the soul. TheyΒ tell your voice in some distant history, pressed cheek toΒ the benevolent, hug usΒ withΒ a sigh sayΒ everything will be fine. Figuratively speaking, of course. "Nice place" andΒ is something like this.
ItΒ a lot of lightness, despite theΒ heavy enough esoteric subjects. HeΒ saysΒ a piece ofΒ the language of philosophy and morality, butΒ notΒ sure makes you feel stupid hog.
And thatΒ strikesΒ it most, soΒ that's asΒ easyΒ a casual viewer involved in the narrative. The plot is simple and logical: hereΒ got a girl (Kristen bell), itΒ opens his eyes, sees the writing on the wall "hi! AllΒ well!" andΒ immediatelyΒ calms down. And we along with her. BecauseΒ is doing really well. AndΒ notΒ importantly,Β with each new season, "the trolley Problem" is becoming aΒ seriousΒ seriousΒ at some point reaches a truly cosmic scale, the main idea remains unchanged untilΒ the (albeitΒ a little bittersweet) endΒ βΒ all is well.
Separately want to note the incredible work of the decorators, becauseΒ all theseΒ good, bad and average places look incredibly cute, and, of course, the ensemble cast (not to fall in love withΒ the eternal narcotica Chidi Anagoge inΒ performance William Jackson Harper simply impossible).
One wordΒ βΒ recommend. Especially in those moments when you need a dose of joy in this gray days.
