The Victorian era was the heyday of Britain, when the world is literally ruled out of London. It is strange that still was so you haven't done enough about the Queen Victoria — the woman, at which the British Empire was in the Zenith of fame. And now British TV crew fix this injustice.
The series tells about the early years of the reign of Victoria, starting in fact with her ascension to the throne and the first, faltering steps. He is dedicated to not only the art of managing a vast Empire, which already, in 1830, extended from Canada to China, and the court intrigue. Up to management of the Palace economy and, of course, servants — after "Downton Abbey," they inevitably appear in any historical series.
Exciting? Even would! Victoria — it is not a boring list of historical facts, this is the most alive, emotional and probably biased narrative. And so the series is very lucky to have a leading lady. The choice is Jenna Coleman of"Doctor Who", perhaps even flatters historic Victoria, but importantly, it's very good.
In General, the "Victoria" — a great choice for all who enjoy British costume drama. TV budget, of course, not can turn around in full force, but the accuracy of the British Directors in terms of the costumes and scenery are well known. Casting as a minimum of good, while the familiar faces passing is relatively rare. And the writers managed to revitalize the historical facts and bring them new life.
