For over 10 years, he kept in awe the entire San Francisco. Talking to reporters after the authorities, in the letters he severely criticized the police of inaction. Zodiac then disappeared for a while, it appeared again. Sometimes, the police began to doubt that another murder was just the one for whom they so vainly hunted, and not some impersonator. However, the handwriting of murders and letters to reporters said that the zodiac had not yet retired.

Two a half hour of anxious waiting: well here, well soon, well here we're about to start! Well! Well, come on!!! Alas... it not given not started. Nothing at all. Sharp detective-thrash burst on the first minute next two hours and a half — nothing!

As if the saving phrase — "the film is based on real events". Well so what? Detailed, thorough, meticulous, painstaking-adjusted adaptation of the multi-volume criminal case.

Cool, "based on real events" — this "Fargo," the Coen. Here how to remove the actual events!

And why this movie? For what audience? And respond to the audience (in my experience) in the ground (so as not to strike in dirt person) in the following way: well, that David Fincher, of course, this time, something at him really happened, or something we do not quite understand, but it was also David Fincher. What with this, if the film is empty!

And with the view was killing it right here such that multiple drillthrough events: megamegaman — "four days later", "after two and a half months", "after twenty-five minutes, twelve hours" and etc etc ., I. Well what a normal viewer will be able to clearly chronological in his brain, yeah and whether this?

In General, two and a half hours of killed time. What remember this picture? No-th-th. And that would not to put the film unit, I will consider that it is, after all, David Fincher and out of sympathy for Jake Gyllenhaal, put

It seems that zodiac all Americans like that Jack the Ripper for inhabitants of the Old world — a fertile ground for various kinds of adaptations — from thrillers to historical and nailed.

And another (but not quality) the film is about the zodiac living proof. This retro-detective can reward with such epithets as a monotonous, protracted, boring and static that of the genre of "detective" is tantamount to failure. But is only first.

The film is really very long and monotonic — not entertaining movie, but rather contemplative. To feel its taste, you need to stay with him "one on one", to feel its rhythm, to immerse yourself in the time to bury my head yellowed documents, to personally look into the, the more so point it is not set up now.

And here when it happens, the picture will cause a burning interest, and not will get the screen to closing credits, and possibly now it still not once.

So occurred, the Director David Fincher did a great job, thoroughly examining all details (and it is 10,000 pages of documents) and provided the audience their interpretation of this, the sensational in its time history.

His contribution made and the acting trio — mark Ruffalo in the role of a detective is investigating the case, Robert Downey Jr. in the role of the reporter and Jake Gyllenhaal in the role of a regular newspaper cartoonist.

Ruffalo is very convincingly demonstrated the routine work of the police in spirit — "it a dirty business and only". Robert Downey and his character more dynamic — it is sensation time and new facts not he is looking for happiness on the bottom of the bottle. Gyllenhaal and his cartoonist — it is quite another matter. Although the zodiac for it personally, he wants to get to truth here is not a hindrance!

In addition, a definite plus for this tape — you have been the spirit of the time. Fincher with love recreates in minute detail the America of the 1960 — 70 years — music, cars, architecture, interiors, costumes — sort of acquaintance with the unhurried era, but with an alarming sense of danger — zodiac somewhere in the world...

- You do not get offended when people call you Shorty?
- And you are being called an idiot?! ©

Just looked at DVD. I have to say that film General generally liked. Expected, of course, something more. But not the least, disappointed from store left, and this is important. About all order.

The main advantage of this pattern is, of course, just great directing, from one of the best Directors in cinema history, it is David Fincher. This movie, David managed pretty well, though not without not still not bad. Personally, I to watch "zodiac" was a very entertaining and sometimes a little scary. In short, a huge thanks Fincher for its work, thank you.

About the artists. The main role in the film went to Jake Gyllenhaal. Actually, Jake has always liked him as actor. In"zodiac" as he played a very very well, you could even say great. Jake made his character truly courageous, charismatic, and memorable character. In General, it is well done. Also remember, and just was able to please his game the following artists: mark Ruffalo, Anthony Edwards, Robert Downey Jr., Brian Cox, John Carroll Lynch, Richmond Arquette, Robert J. Stephenson, John Lacy and Clore sevigny.

I would like note also stunning soundtrack to the film, which was written by composer David Shire. He is perfectly able to convey the General atmosphere of the tape, and perfectly complements it.

The result: a Very interesting, rather mysterious, and very intriguing film genre of Thriller. To watch worth it.
