British pseudo-documentary film about nuclear war.
The direct predecessor of "Threads" (Threads).

The Apocalypse scenario is very realistic — In 1965, the Chinese regular army entered on the territory of North Vietnam and started a large scale offensive against American and South Vietnamese forces. After the Americans threatened to use tactical nuclear weapons in Vietnam, USSR in solidarity with the Vietnamese and the Chinese Communists, completely blockaded West Berlin by the hands of the GDR-ovsky authorities. NATO's efforts to implement the supply of Berlin on the air has led to that a few transport planes were shot down. Clashes on the border areas soon led to full hostilities, and the assault on West Berlin of troops of the GDR and the attempt by NATO troops to break through to help the besieged garrison. Well and then — war covers the entire Europe, serious numerical superiority of the OVD will inevitably lead to the application of tactical nukes by NATO and subsequent big badabumom with the use of strategic warheads of both parties, where England, because of the high population density and the availability of many military targets will get VERY much.

Actually it — the effects of nuclear attacks and a complete unwillingness to her population of the United Kingdom — this 40-minute film and devoted.

Highly recommend to all fans of dark, realistic post-Apocalypse — realistic horror movie on the level of "Threads" and is often compared with this movie.

"War game" — in a row-fantastic film about what happens if you start a nuclear war. Showing the terrible effects of nuclear weapons — the corpses lying on miles, interspersed with interviews with celebrities and passers-by.

"Technically and intellectually we are living in the atomic age. But emotionally we are still living in the Stone age. At the time of their festivals, the Aztecs were brought to sacrifice to the gods of 20,000 people, believing that this will keep the Universe in proper order. We believe yourself above them."

In contrast to the propaganda of Western films, "war game" focuses not on the class enemy, and on the consequences of nuclear war. The events of this movie presumably it would be possible not only the UK, but and any country in the world, after the horror of a nuclear bomb is the same everywhere.

A curious film. Despite his advanced age, all still able to scare a modern audience. Very convincingly demonstrates the result of the effects of nuclear weapons. Particularly impressive demonstration of mass fires and the effect of "fire storm": moving from the tornado air mass, walls of fire, agonizing caught in the trap of people...

Attempts to intimidate the viewer such far-reaching consequences, as driving civilization on the long term in stone age not done. Maybe that time about such is not thought I may consider sufficient and that has already shown. In any case, this film differs from a fairly optimistic production played on Civil defence
