I don't know the judicial system and I do not know all its subtleties, but the film being entirely devoted to litigation, not became too difficult for perception and understanding. When he is not absurd, where about the obvious laws and logic forgotten in favor of dramatispersonae any problems and conflicts between characters.

The main storyline, and it is the claim of the address of the insurance companies from the parents of the boy, dying of leukemia, like almost everyone. The exception perhaps is that the parties to the conflict showed too formulaic — evil against good, the greedy versus the fair. It is clear that in many ways, it would it but still the world is not is divided into black white. But everything else has developed rapidly, as for a film of this genre, the tightened moments practically do not was as and too melodramatic, which do not impact on the plot, but would be pure episode, the viewer is allowed a tear.

Young Matt Damon is definitely pleased in the role of a hungry, promising, ambitious and a bit naive young lawyer. When you know it is almost the beginning of his way to a great movie — expect to see the artificiality, insincerity, but nothing like I saw.

Danny DeVito playing partner Rudy Baylor (Matt Damon) initially seems to be your typical caricature of a jester of the second plan, but in fact, very quickly the opinion changes and it becomes clear that Yes — may it not clever or witty the main characters and the parties to the conflict, but the at least your fuse and entuziazmom he moves for Rudy Baylor to the cherished goal.

Regarding the secondary storyline, and more about relations Rudy Baylor and a Callie Riker in performed by Claire Danes. Personally my experience — it was unnecessary, so as the case when want the movie to last longer purely due to the fact that this line revealed more deeply. Too all squashed, crumpled was released in film not felt that between these characters anything was, except the compassion of the character Matt Damon to this girl.

Summing up and experience:

Good courtroom drama with elements of a detective for viewing quiet, late in the evening.

A young man dying of leukemia, not having insurance, which would have to save him. It the lawyer discovers that the insurance company is extremely unfair conducts its business. He decided to bring the case to end to knock insurance the amount that the parents of the young man intend to charity. Who will win? Unknown lawyer, still not licensed or a powerful company, which is bison court fights?

Business, in General, crystal clear, but win the party that will collect more evidence in their favor. Or will be able to put pressure on one. But, in General, watch this film and think, don't so terrible as he is painted. The American judicial system very wow. And even has a good chance to win. However, not possible that this chance will result in a large Fig.

The whole movie I was tormented by the question — why it is called "the Benefactor"? But important thing — the film is not have touched, not thrilled. All the actors are fine, but without light, without soul. Filmed in a detached, cold, say, that's my story was so and so. VoiceOver reinforces this detached, the camera indifferently glides on the characters win back the next scene. This illustration the Grisham novel, alas, is the only illustration.

I like fan of legal battles, remember the "Time to kill" (the novel of the same Grisham), "Amistad", where the degree of intensity was raised to an unprecedented height, where a sense of empathy just tore the soul. If we take the case, similar to understand the film, I can recommend "the Verdict", 1982, with Paul Newman in the title role. The script there more interesting and have to worry.

And this film is certainly good, in a sense, good. But for Coppola's weak will.

Long ago, I didn't look so honest, so touching and same time its brutal, movie. Frankly, I very surprised this picture is entirely deprived of awards. It's really a very worthwhile movie, which, in my opinion, every year will become more and relevant.

I began to watch this movie because there is removed'rourke. It in this picture the secondary. It the role of small and large, especially significant. However, in this tape were very good actors. The main role went to Damon, who still looks very young. Here and the wonderful by Danny DeVito, who brings in this painting such an important element of irony. And even Danny Glover, who plays the judge. Well, Director — Francis Ford Coppola. The man, whose name says it yourself!

It's a movie about humanity, about the justice of conscience. It tell about how a young lawyer caught in an ocean of lies processes the course begins to fight for honesty. And you know that justice still prevails, honestly, front I had tears.

This movie is quite sad, very touching. It enters the soul and leaves there a huge feeling some heat. Warmth for the fact that, after watching, I want to believe, h that is more people who are willing to fight not only for yourself and its worth, how much for others, offended people.
