It is surprising that I finally decided to write a review of K "the Last of the Mohicans." The thing that this movie was once produced on me a strong impression, forcing to go into life and that is the morals of the North American Indians.

Statement of Michael Mann in fundamentally different from the novel by James Fenimore Cooper, and I'm glad it really is. The world movie revealed all from the point of view that is movie. Understand what you want, called? No. Explain: developed ones. topics that could be of interest to a mass audience. Due to this, there is a beautiful love story between Nathaniel and Cora, thanks so tragic fates of Alice and son of the legendary Chingachgook, they are barely emerging sense! Daniel day-Lewis so aligned among them the role of Hawkeye, a white hunter that for a long time, it is impossible to stop them to correlate as an indivisible entity. Yes, twice Oscar winner, this actor makes to admire and empathize with. Madeline Stowe as delicious in the transmission power of emotion and restraint aristocrat. And can not be enough words as begin to trust Eric Schweig as brother, friend, and colleague.

Musical themes are wonderful — it's like real life, which you can hear and pony, even without viewing. But think, how much you can lose not saw movie.

Complex and bright, full of realism and romanticism. Creation with two capital letters.

Try to trust.

This film — the pearl of world cinema. This real Movie, that is with a capital letter. Excellent adaptation of the novel by James Fenimore Cooper that were better than the original. War and love, the beautiful scenery and the battlefield, bravery and betrayal, romance and tragedy masterfully intertwined with unique production Michael Mann, organically complementing each other. One of the best historical dramas in film history, definitely, is required to view, as the masterpieces of this level to find very difficult.

The story takes place in 1757 on the North American continent in the era of the war of England and France for Indian lands. Between the Redskins also there is a war and different tribes join one of the parties. In addition, in the conflict involved and the first settlers, whose the home is caught between a rock and a hard place.

Chingachgook related to the tribe of Mohicans, and his sons — the young uncas and adopted Hawkeye, he also Nathaniel Bumpo, live on the laws of the ancestors. They have to be wary of what is happening around events, but one help convoy the British to fend off the squad, a tribe of Hurons under the leadership of the bloodthirsty Magua. Among the survivors were 2 daughter of Colonel Munro — very young Alice and refined aristocratic Bark. Three of the bounty hunters agree to help the British to reach of the fortress, under the command of the father of the girls. And in this full of danger way there is a place not only the death, but and love.

The film is extremely expressive written the characters: Hawkeye in the performance of Daniel day-Lewis, the epitome of a hero. Bold and courageous, he honest a and surrounding ready to sacrifice themselves even for unfamiliar people. With the other side — Cora Munro, young lady that the whole life was surrounded by solemnity, caps, wigs, and a smarmy hypocrisy. It very sweet and gentle, but has a strong character, ready to defend their beliefs and all believe, up to the use of brute force. It makes it fine for Nathaniel, it is not surprising that feelings erupt between them. In addition, it is curious to follow the romance between Uncas and Alice — their feelings are so secretive that they can be caught, only clinging to views. This gorgeous! No pathos, applause, banal phrases — only a single glance, so deep and sincere, can be sufficient! So just so brilliant!

Here it is — a great feature of the Last of the Mohicans. No extra words and scenes, the Director presents all wanted to say. Sincere hurricane of emotion sweeping across the audience for the entire film. Nothing superfluous, everything is with the point of view of the movie as art. Something clean, story shaken, I might add, the film will SAG.

Well, the film itself is not only love, which he, of course, in many ways, dedicated. It and the historical tape, revealing the human greed. The struggle of "white" to each other for tidbits of a foreign land shown quite naturalistic and very believable. Now the Indians — not the peace-loving natives, they became warriors, often cold-blooded and ruthless. Now the battle is won, when the blade is lose luster from the blood shot enemy scalps. This position is embodied in his character the actor Wes Studi. It craving murder is terrifying, its motives are unacceptable, although they can try to understand.

In terms of entertainment, the film also performed well. Large-scale fighting truly large-scale and well-delivered. All very believable, realistic, without iterate. Looks great salvo firing of cannons and guns. Very high quality mounted scene with melee fighting. Everyone in the crowd looks organic, Sami fights set up very well and spectacular. Blows with a Tomahawk on the head is very naturalistic.

And, of course, the painting of such high level essential excellent atmospheric music. Trevor Jones & Randy Edelman created the infinitely great and beautiful melody in different interpretations, emphasizing the depth of each event occurring on the screen. Soundtrack Promentory still a long time to scroll to your memory, I believe.

Very bright, interesting, entertaining, romantic and tragic picture. Two hours genuine fun.

Pleasant viewing!

The last of the Mohicans I looked yesterday at the DVD, from home I left Impressed...

History does not that is very simple but not very complex for the perception of the film. As anyway, the novel I have not read so judging by the film.

First impression film I have left thanks to the actors.

Daniel day-Lewis — genius all you know after the movie gangs of new York. Here it in the height of his powers. It truly been in this film the forest Ranger brought up and living with the Indians. Runs fast, reads the tracks, Tomahawk, speaks perfectly in General, Lewis is amazing get in the role has always been clear.

Madeline Stowe — the standard of femininity and beauty of the time, the standard of what should be the woman who came in ore time the difficult situation of special delight to her. the game is not , but managed it good.

Wes Study — Elegant just the villain from it came, one of the most memorable in cinema. Real vindictive, ruthless and cunning an Indian. Nomination for the Oscar.

Jody may, Russell Means, Steven Waddington and the rest of the cast also did well their roles, creating in the right places, the right setting, and causing the viewer's true feelings.

The Indians in the film shown is just gorgeous. The best that I saw movie. Battle daubed with paint, violent, screaming and noble. It is not disguised of course with Gojko Mitic.

Excellent melee, which in a measure scattered the picture. There are local clashes, very intense and beautiful, makes you worry characters. There is in picture a pair of large-scale clashes, the most memorable of them, it perhaps the attack on the convoy of the British in the second half of the film. Delivered luxurious, with great attention to detail, with extras, and with competent direction.

Music in the film is simply magical. Because no the soundtrack of the existing (may be with the exception of "the Beginning" Nolan) is not have immersed me so deep the picture, giving feel all its like visual inner magnificence. Track Promentory forever in my collection. As in General and film.

All suggest. Not disappoint.

Conclusion:an Excellent historical film with the best tomahawkman fighting game and brilliant music is a bit slack in the middle, but then pumps up the speed and does not get bored up to the end. At this...
