"Other" — intriguing Irish horror-Thriller will be like all fans of the stories, which are deliberately hidden genre, because on the one hand the viewer a hint at the mystical component about obsession immediately to imply that everything that happens can be just a figment of the imagination of a sick mind of one man.
In the story of a single mother along with the son moved to the outskirts of the small town and settles in house in the woods. And all nothing but will soon begin to happen quite strange things which in the end lead to irreversible consequences. Because a mentally ill neighbor and a mysterious phenomenon in the woods, a young mother begins to suspect that child — not her own son. At first this thought slips in the head of the heroine unobtrusive and short-term, but then suspicions are intensified, the fear grows and starts a real panic. The girl is convinced that her son is kind of inexplicable hell. The Putin or was possessed by something terrible, or some otherworldly force is simply switched bodies. The poor mother is trying to find out the truth, but instead, it sets itself against others and your own child. The authors very competently and consistently reveal the storyline, but they forget about the elemental sense of wonder, because the first half of the film looks pretty boring, depressing and confusing. Watch is not very nice don't particularly want to sympathize with the characters, because everything that happens on screen makes you feel nothing but boredom. But by the middle of the intrigue intensifies, the atmosphere is pumping and you receive the interest in the result bright climax in the finale.
And all despite some claim to the staging, the main issues is the script, which in some moments was clearly not worked properly. The authors, of course, strengthened by the action of the final part, but completely forgot to reveal plot nuances and to explain details about those or other heroes.
