After watching the first part of "Ghosts in Connecticut", I couldn't do not watch the sequel that this can be called only possible with the big stretch, since the story of the first part does not connected. It is felt that the film called explicitly from for commercial reasons, but I will leave it on conscience of the film.

Plot no sense to summarize-it is banal. Here are all the classic elements of a horror movie. An ordinary family moves into an abandoned house, which is located in the middle of nowhere. From the house has a dark past, about which new residents not know. But I guess because the main character can see dead people, making it know that occurred their new home for many years ago.

All I have seen in other thrillers. But actually for everyone I love those movies. The old house that holds many secrets-a perfect tie for such a film. To the same it is the woods, which creates a certain atmosphere. Lights, creaking doors, ghosts reflection in the Windows - it's corny, but the film looks quite harmoniously, although maybe someone to be a bother.

I hardly I will review this movie, but a half hour of viewing pleasure to which I expected. The sequel completely lived up to my standby.

The film "Ghosts in Connecticut", released on screens in 2009, though, and had a mediocre criticism and mixed audience reviews — still can boast evident success in terms of office; therefore, the desire of producers to identify the next horror franchise was clear, though, in the feasibility of this event hard to believe with difficulty. How would it may, after a considerable four years when the first film have forgotten — we are a "continuation," which, if it to speak candidly, do nothing to the first film does not give; for with the exception of "brand" in the name.

Since the first picture, according to the assurance of the creators, was based on real events, and when this was finished, producer Paul Brooks decided not to touch this history and a franchise to build on a simple principle, according to which each movie will be independent, but they are based on real eyewitnesses allegedly facing the presence of ghosts. Therefore, the Connecticut absolutely nothing to do it has; and generally, the name itself looks extremely ridiculous, literally alluding to that game of Georgia are ghosts of the Connecticut. History, according to the law of the genre, begins with his family moved to the new home of in the remote backwoods. Already in the first minutes of the film we can observe how the mother Lisa (Abigail Spencer) have such horrible vision, get rid of the she tried using the pill. But not so simple. The creators are very tightly filled with action "appearances" of ghosts, knocks and creaks; in the time as the story itself through time slips on place providing no new information. At this episode, attempting to scare the viewer, originality does not differ. A bunch of sudden appearances of the patterns, plus black-and-white clouded plans of the forest, plus a flashing light — the imagination of the creators of the rich can not be named. Moreover, episodes of these are many, but the atmosphere they don't create — it appears only closer to the climax, when the plot begins to be viewed a plausible logic. The problem here in that it is quite long can justify these items; and when you view clearly I feel a simple fact: all these moments are just "for show"; for the film fulfilled the stated genre, but with the plot half of them fit. Many fears — little sense, because of what they look very histrionics. In this movie the creators believe that are afraid of ghosts should have just because they're ghosts, but what kind of harm they can cause — absolutely not clear; therefore, every time the soundtrack in the time of the next appearance of evil, trying to catch up with fear — can't get rid of thoughts — but, actually, what is should I be afraid of this dark figure?

The film is stuffed with all sorts of "appearances" so that in the second half is simply begins to tire. Several rescues that as you get closer to the final act starts to be felt real danger in all events have seen the main logic. But don't confuse logic with intrigue. All the secrets of the past, nothing original here, not present, isolation is unlikely that will be unexpected. Particularly striking total zashtampovannost all those moves that scenario brings us to not so and spectacular climax. The finals are not the worst, of course; there's a bit of sheet metal — but generally it's pretty mediocre. And, in that time, a rating of "R" is puzzling, and like otherwise, advertising — in the film, blood is almost no actually, as and violence — just terrible fake faces, and nothing more. Look no what in principle — all the action takes place around a single house in the woods, where the nature of the picturesque is not called. The limited budget that is, on the face. Among the actors I want to mention Emily young Elin Lind in the role of Heidi — childlike not the first time to correct the situation failure of the film; on the creators are well aware, giving the young actress a vast field for activities.

As if neither it was, even if I was little hope of an adequate new franchise — they were ruined already in the second film, where the viewer was presented uninteresting and secondary product, mediocre execution. No connection with the first film; and no compliance with even the modest quality criteria, which he had not here observed. However, it looks funny that fact that here, the creators have managed to drag to the story of the civil war, so relevant in recent times. A coincidence, of course — but still.

What can we expect from the continuation of the horror movie when the first part leaves much to be desired — just another worse. Yes both painting "Ghosts in Connecticut" with himself associated only with hopelessness and wretchedness in an understanding of fear for the viewer, perhaps in this communication plan is more than enough.

In terms of plot the film "Ghosts in Connecticut 2: Taani past" to its predecessor is not sent, not having any connection with characters the first picture. But there is approximately the same scenario of the history, the ghosts, and the interchange. All the same directorial techniques that were Peter Cornwell all same stupidity actions the actions of the main characters.

What stood out the first part of this Saga — remains a mystery to me, but second work under the Director's inspection of a certain Tom Elkins even before it is not hold. Although the only thing that separates this film from all the outsiders of the horror genre is good quality of the film, its visuals and the colors in frame.

But the overall experience of this film is nothing is able to save, maybe some viewers of this film will find a use in time and evening viewing, to other — deep disappointment what is trying to feed the viewer in the horror genre.
