The film tells about the Sonderkommandos — unit consisted of Jews and worked in the gas chambers. They helped to strip the prisoners collected their values and pushed them into the furnace. Later, they washed the blood from the walls of the gas chambers and the corpses removed gold teeth and hair. Those who refused were shot. After 14 hours of work, members of Sonderkommando received good food, they were allowed to smoke, drink and read in quarters separate from other prisoners. Some also provide several additional months of life before them also killed. Play Tim Blake Nelson based on the story that took place in one of the 13 existing Sonderkommando. That another hard film about the essence of the policy of Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany in General. The film again passed fear, hatred, horror, horror, and countless tears nor not innocent people. For people who are the call of fate were born as mentioned one of the main characters of another film about the concentration camps, "the Boy in the striped pyjamas", "Jews"...

Very strange that the film "drags" somewhere in the end of films of the above subjects, which is very unnecessarily. A film on his own work, I have in color, but the Director tried and no wonder to transfer all of emotions and feelings of the sufferers in the camps, and even their "servants". Particularly tragic transferred to scenes from the moment you enter the huge crowds of people in the crematorium under the sounds of the beautiful classics under a view of the cry of death; the scene of the rescue of a little girl, a survivor in the gas chamber under the influence of "Zyklon-B"...

To all story lines of this film I should add that the film is partly based on real events... Troops Sonderkommandos existed, and despite the total helplessness, they did the righteous cause, fighting against the whims of the Board of a brutal rulers and madmen of our time, the name which, personally, I after a history, called not want to...

To recommend this film to must-see, I wouldn't was, although he's worth the attention. Just psyche and nervous system have all people are different, and afraid those too impressionable it is contraindicated.

Was there a hell on earth? Yes, there were so, Polish soil, under the town of Oswiecim, where planned and mechanical in a few years destroyed several million Europeans who had the misfortune there to please.

The film — not ordinary prisoners in the infernal camp, but its higher part — the so-called Sonderkommando or special brigade to the incineration of corpses. Most of the movie, the camera dispassionately records their horrifying job and their night gatherings for a bottle of vodka and a piece of sausage (even the SS knew that of slaves, who have the most dirty thing in Auschwitz, should feed).

These people are doomed, and know this is 1944, the year the Nazis were defeated at all fronts, and, covering up traces of their crimes, will inevitably destroy the main witnesses.

The choice of the heroes of the "Gray zone", in fact, no — or die slaves, on his knees, with a bullet in the back of your head, or try to take a the light at least some of executioners. Without of pathos and anguish, in the film shows how the once wordless, almost lost human form the walking dead just kicks pummel zagorevskii in the gas chambers of the same accident in cold blood, without emotions, stalkivalsia in furnace bodies of their relatives, choose the second option. At least for a few moments, to feel free.

By a strange coincidence, in one day I saw "Life is beautiful", Roberto Benigni and, in fact, a Grey area. Emotion is called chaotic. And the feeling is similar with film "Melinda and Melinda" by woody Allen. Only poetry and more serious.

How can vary look at some same event. But still if "Life is beautiful" — it is rather a utopia (though the masterpiece), single and something controversial look at  the"final solution of the Jewish question", "Gray zone" to the truth is closer and then prevailed the atmosphere will give brighter. As you can imagine (PAH-PAH), on the basis of known facts of history.

Unfortunately, this fact is a bit worn out in memory of the public. As and all war a whole. Many young people of the concept "Holocaust" is familiar only as a kind of a creepy word. Moreover have among their own peers I meet even irritation due to remind how's important. They say: "Zadolbali you all, let's be real."

And here to see fans of horror stories and horror movies that might and tickling the nerves at the time of viewing, but any semantic loading does not bear, and only generate unconscious violence and cruelty.

No no way I want to call belongs to this picture, like to the horror film. This story. And what can you do if she we so...

Just think about number — nearly SIX MILLION PEOPLE...

And for me how for the man is not being a Jew, and not familiar one of them personally, while the question "what they this them as HATED and continue to HATE?" remains open...

To view all thinking and cares.
