During this film I was difficult to completely disengage from "All will die, but I will stay" Valeria Gai Germanicus... Now I understand why the Palme d'or jury in Cannes awarded film "the Class", and why not able to leave without a awards attention our young Director.

These paintings have in common and the age of heroes (14-15 years), and the problem of the lack of a common language between children and adults, and the principle shooting and like documentary transfer material without correction pressure clear author's position, and an open end. However, at this, perhaps, and ends in common.

International "Class" — this is a local model of the multinational West and — my God! — how relationships this team different from those who showed us Germanicus!

The effect of the presence of  the"Class" for the viewer is more comfortable for here to look in hidden corners of the soul and body of teenagers nobody attempts. The main question that concerns teachers of the French school — protecting the interests of students and creating children as comfortable as possible for study conditions. The teachers here are seriously concerned about discipline, but I'm afraid to discourage to learn excessive rigor.

Interestingly, in the psychological problems of teacher attention did not less than a child. And actually understand how the above requirements for adults in the French school in relationship building and the ability to keep yourself in hand in extreme situations. We see it not only the example of the main character, French teacher, but and reactions of teachers on the emotional breakdown of another of his colleagues.

Personally I was surprised by the real democracy of the relationship. In particular, the reaction of the teachers to two delegates of the 8th class, who were giggling, whispering and even free out of the Cabinet during the sitting of the pedagogical Council. Later, when the teacher in the heat of the argument with in class on another topic rebuked them, seeing to word on the meeting they "I laughed like crazy" erupted serious scandal about... incorrect behavior of the teacher. At this behaviour is not that is not condemned, but even have not been discussed!

In General, for me acquaintance with the morals and attitudes of the French school was a complete revelation. Think, my countrymen, too much surprise. Yes at least a football match teachers in her eyes children.
You in your schools are often seen?

I recommend this film only to those who are truly interested in the topic of school. "Class" is almost entirely composed of a very rich conversations that we need to listen carefully. Amateur actors look characters documentary Chronicles, and nothing not like acting as it — text of script.
Although the scenario was of course. Moreover, it wrote Francois Begodo, brilliantly played French teacher.

However, the film does not long ago, came in the finish impose of their emotions... I'm Sure your own and be in excess.

While viewing this movie in the head "swept" a lot of ideas that can be roughly split into three points.

In the XIX — the beginning of the twentieth century, France was the second size colonial power. In contrast England, which in addition to leadership in the number of colonies that could create legal obstacles for the penetration of their former colonial subjects to the Metropolitan territory, France was in a much more disadvantageous position. Have to the end of the twentieth century, the number of immigrants from the former colonies constituted a significant proportion of the population of France. Suffice it to recall the massacre which was perpetrated in Paris 2005 and 2007 to understand how serious is this problem. Many go for "better life" in France (and Africa, from the Antilles, and French Indochina), even not knowing French, as though considering that they come here, their life here will be better to the best. In fact, the state itself is to blame in this situation. But the problem of immigration of developing countries is now not only to France, but and to Russia (migrant workers from the countries of the former USSR), USA (illegal Mexican immigrants) and other countries.

When we as teenagers studying at school, only a small part of teachers is for our good guys that we respect, to whom we listen. Probably everyone can remember how at least he times inappropriate led myself the lesson it unnerved teachers, and he nothing could do! Then a few who imagined the place of the teacher. Only after graduation and the start of teaching work in you understand how sometimes horribly you had behaved as a student. You in their own skin feel is hate it when you tell the material and your wards instead to sit quietly and write, talk, talking back, rude, and you did not really can do! Most often the trip to a Director of school is not afraid of the student. How is no sadly, the teacher — the most unprotected person in school! He always the extreme! If anything happens, blame the teacher! When students are rude to the teacher — is like in the order of things, but if the teacher in the hearts that will tell the student, it will remember him it to the prom (if not to the end of life) and at every opportunity, to remind him about it.

And as friendly or not fragile would class students always share one and the same "corporate ethics" — whatever no matter what happens, don't give your ("snitching" — exception)! A vivid example of the of the film, when representatives of the class sitting on the pedagogical Council. Accidentally dropped the word will be heard, recorded, conveyed to the rest of the class (often in"distorted" form), and the teacher then the same is converted into the enemy. The student is offended, what a bad word described it teacher all why forget rude this is student led myself lesson. So that I should always follow that who are you say!

But if directly on the movie, it I did not like — boring, tedious, protracted. Two hours "chatter" in one toga also the office, no stress or acceleration of the narrative. Seen and more interesting dynamic films as about the school and relationships within the school community.

Teacher Francois Marin (Francois Begodo, author of script which this film is based) teaches kids French in one of schools disadvantaged district of Paris. Eighth graders (all as and Begodo, non-professional actors), in which Francois is the class teacher is the most truly multicultural composition. Here and the Arabs, and black Africans, and, in fact, French. There is even one Chinese and one antiles. Class, I must say, in General, not very diligent. Therefore, quite often the teacher has to join with some of students in the conflict (as, for example, with black boy by the name of Suleiman). But Francois not discouraged. He loves these children, although no-no  & slips with his hand some kind of condescending arrogance in against him...

The premiere of "the Class", according to compared to Moscow, was held in Chelyabinsk from some (almost two month) delay. Ventured to show it in our city on the big screen only two cinema: a cinema of a name of Pushkin (which is natural) and"Sinema-Park" (interestingly). In"Sinema-Park" the tape was presented with subtitles. About I didn't fail several times to mention the woman-cashier. And the ticket collector on the entrance hall, according to the dazed face was surprised a few spectators who came to see this movie.

Watch "Class", to the way, I had one. Hall was empty, but somehow, any strong regrets this fact is not called. Not irritated that people would prefer it. art-film and spectacular blockbusters. Perhaps it has been associated with that "Class" being recognised as a masterpiece (according to the Cannes jury), not cause emotions. Absolutely no. Never, probably, art as diligent in not imitated life as in "Class". This is a cinema-believe in which believe ("truth", or in this case "life") completely replaces the cinema ("movies"). This neo-neo-neo-realism brought to the consistency which all feeling burned and there is only power to contemplate constantly rattling the picture (film for full credibility of what is happening, of course, filmed on a handheld camera) and hard this flickering to catch the translation of the speech of the characters and to curse his ignorance of French.

Refers to this aesthetic course can be different. Someone he leads to enthusiastic, someone just shrugs, not knowing that the big deal is. It is important to note something else: cinema, according to appear gradually stronger ceases to be escapism (escape from reality), and often tries to imitate life. Winning last year Cannes tape of Christian Mungiu the Romanian "4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days" was also on the extremely realistic (although much more powerful). Technology beveled on the camera lives in extreme conditions penetrates and in blockbusters (see "Cloverfield"). Although, of course, too early to draw any conclusions (maybe that's never not going to happen), but and it cannot be excluded that, for example, one film and really will be life, and life will turn into a movie.
