The Class

During this film I was difficult to completely disengage from "All will die, but I will stay" Valeria Gai Germanicus... Now I understand why the Palme d'or jury in Cannes awarded film "the Class", and why not able to leave without a awards attention our young Director.

While viewing this movie in the head "swept" a lot of ideas that can be roughly split into three points.

When we as teenagers studying at school, only a small part of teachers is for our good guys that we respect, to whom we listen. Probably everyone can remember how at least he times inappropriate led myself the lesson it unnerved teachers, and he nothing could do! Then a few who imagined the place of the teacher. Only after graduation and the start of teaching work in you understand how sometimes horribly you had behaved as a student. You in their own skin feel is hate it when you tell the material and your wards instead to sit quietly and write, talk, talking back, rude, and you did not really can do! Most often the trip to a Director of school is not afraid of the student. How is no sadly, the teacher — the most unprotected person in school! He always the extreme! If anything happens, blame the teacher! When students are rude to the teacher — is like in the order of things, but if the teacher in the hearts that will tell the student, it will remember him it to the prom (if not to the end of life) and at every opportunity, to remind him about it.

And as friendly or not fragile would class students always share one and the same "corporate ethics" — whatever no matter what happens, don't give your ("snitching" — exception)! Teacher Francois Marin (Francois Begodo, author of script which this film is based) teaches kids French in one of schools disadvantaged district of Paris. The premiere of "the Class", according to compared to Moscow, was held in Chelyabinsk from some (almost two month) delay. Ventured to show it in our city on the big screen only two cinema: a cinema of a name of Pushkin (which is natural) and"Sinema-Park" (interestingly). In"Sinema-Park" the tape was presented with subtitles. About I didn't fail several times to mention the woman-cashier. And the ticket collector on the entrance hall, according to the dazed face was surprised a few spectators who came to see this movie.

Watch "Class", to the way, I had one. Hall was empty, but somehow, any strong regrets this fact is not called. Not irritated that people would prefer it. art-film and spectacular blockbusters. Perhaps it has been associated with that "Class" being recognised as a masterpiece (according to the Cannes jury), not cause emotions. Absolutely no. Never, probably, art as diligent in not imitated life as in "Class". This is a cinema-believe in which believe ("truth", or in this case "life") completely replaces the cinema ("movies"). This neo-neo-neo-realism brought to the consistency which all feeling burned and there is only power to contemplate constantly rattling the picture (film for full credibility of what is happening, of course, filmed on a handheld camera) and hard this flickering to catch the translation of the speech of the characters and to curse his ignorance of French.

Refers to this aesthetic course can be different. Someone he leads to enthusiastic, someone just shrugs, not knowing that the big deal is. It is important to note something else: cinema, according to appear gradually stronger ceases to be escapism (escape from reality), and often tries to imitate life.
