Based on the novel by Mary Norton "Dobyvaci". It would be necessary I read the primary source, since the recent creation of Studio Ghibli this project is very important and not so much about the atmosphere, how much of the story. However, it is not will spoil.

The mood of "Thieves" — a typical family spectacle the second half of the nineties, personally, I first of all reminded a picture "101 Dalmatians", except that is Glenn close here all the road suffers from John Goodman. A villain with a speaking name Potter loses his mustache, floating in fresh cheese, gets a pin in soft spot further same spirit. In one of the borrowers (in the translation, which you are likely to find little characters name, however, animalname) observed That ten years Felton; occasional guard, touting the cure for burns, played by Hugh Laurie.

Despite the cruelty of the good characters in against the main bad (and Vice versa), the movie is rather good, but too predictable and thin the direction and for an adult audience in addition to the above the actor's outputs look nothing special here.

A wonderful movie about the lives of young thieves, who sometimes quietly "occupy" the family of Lendery, in whose cellar live, all sorts of household stuff: batteries, needles, pins, coins... They call themselves homemade animalname are watches on the waist, lit a candle from bare electrical wires and easily rolled on a toy turbomachine the city sewer. And all nothing but one day a treacherous lawyer Potter tricked the Lendery to move out of the house, declaring its demolition and the construction of residential complex on a vacant site...

Very good, light and a good movie for adults and children based on the motives of the children's novel writer, Mary Norton. Particularly pleased with the star squad; in the film starred Hugh Laurie in the role of equitable peace officer, John Goodman in the role of the greedy lawyer, a small Tom Felton in the role of the Peas, Jim Broadbent in the role of the father. I would like mark it's funny it was shown the ratio is small and large, i.e., animashek and various objects: candles, bottles, grains, hours, icicles, and various places: roofs, refrigerators, basements, cars. A particularly good scene with ice cream the beginning of the film: I as if she had been in the freezer.

In the film there is great meaning, but he teaches his audience the kindness, mutual support and tolerance.

Conclusion: view once, to love and to watch many more times. Personally so I came.

Strange as such a great movie not written no reviews. Well, okay, I will be the first, it is necessary to start sometime.

Our localizers as especially if names are changed. Not too difficult. The name can be literally translated as "Tanimachi", and even  - over the official translation reads well, but how much something everywhere write "Thief". Well, if that they love to "Great and Mighty", but then you can safely translate as "Taliateli", and not to distort the meaning. Maybe it as being cute? Or something else? Mind Russia not understand.

This film, I have seen many times TV in the twisted time twenty per year and it I always liked him but he is not a masterpiece. But many films are forgotten, and it in particular, "zomboyaschiku" its not spinning have two years I'm on a few forgotten. But once I stumbled on DVD this picture thinking, from his bought not sorry, this film I like before.

Director is Peter Hewitt, it little known to the General public. Takes in mostly low-cost family movies for television. But he made one brilliant and very much my favorite movie is "Garfield". So that's a good Director. And this film is made great. Not say what a masterpiece, but is very easy for viewing. You can revise it many times. He nice and unobtrusive (you think it means).

Script in generally good, but something there is not much enough. The film was shot in the eponymous children's novel by writer Mary Norton. The book I have not read. But as and most film adaptations, there is one serious problem — conciseness. Many things happen too quickly, and no time to their thinking. short duration advantage and disadvantage at the same time. Yes  finals I personally not to the end like, hard somehow, although fun.

Actors playing is wonderful. The cast is one of the most important qualities of the picture. Well and very fun played John Goodman, a great comedic actor. Good acting shown by Tom Felton. But the main actor for me this movie is Hugh Laurie, one of the best British actors.

Cinematography and the visual component of the film is very encouraging. Very realistic and quite spectacular (remember the scene on the dairy factory).

Soundtrack good, but nothing more. In the playlist from me it will not.

a Silly comment: movie the main negative character in the surname of Potter, and one of positive characters plays That Felton, star of "Potteriany". Not coincidence?

Conclusion: a very good family film times to the "Harry Potter". Fans of the genre must watch. And remember: stealing all still bad, even in a positive context.
