After reading the reviews and seeing the next "keyhole" through which to watch the atheists who don't understand the essence and stuff — again convinced only is correct to do things like this movie, but in their necessity. With the other hand pleased and positive reviews. May not all so bad.

Arguments helluva lot of believers are usually slipping in the emotional outline, completely denying or avoiding the logical side of their judgments. And the reason for this lies on the surface. There is no logic. And emotion paint over the gaps. Why not tell about the contents of the tape.

The interviewer and screenwriter bill Mar, which for a part of this project known as comedian, broadcaster, critic, author of books and etc., it appeals to our reason; not without humor, taking the conversation with representatives of various religions and their sects. He put them stumped by simple questions. They put it in a dead end with their stupid, extremely stupid and mega stupid answers, explanations, arguments....

Here you meet a number of "interesting personalities" who smoke and different trends of Christianity, and of Judaism, and Islam ... just Smoking a simple matter and under this matter the believers in the unknown e... x.... And tellingly, this last in the list, the man looked more appropriate on the background of most of the other interviewees. I think I too high? While you, Jews are radicals deny the right of Israel to exist?

In General, look, listen, and having a lot of fun!

Another project Larry Charles on the intersection of documentary and feature films, which, to great regret, went almost unnoticed in the shadow of Sacha Baron Cohen. It is another convincing proof that the sharp subtle Comedy is enjoyed by the public is much less popular in comparison with vulgar jokes and stop the behavior. And wasn't that looks funny on screen or rather conveys the idea, but that a thoughtful and reasonable bill Maher in contrast irrational Cohen, really makes the viewer think about some serious things. And the thought process on how you know, it is very tedious, even if he laced with a portion of caustic and sparkling humor.

One of the advantages of the film especially stands out the magnificent bill Meher, amazingly accurate cinematography Anthony Hardwick that was very difficult given the format of the film and set the interviewee characters.

Of the minuses, except that Russian audience unfamiliar with the realities of American life, it will be difficult to catch some of the highlights.

And, in General, to me, as a fan of American stand-up comedians, very much. If you like it you suggest another to watch the performances of George Carlin, it course religion God.

"Believers" — to put it mildly, not too successful translation of the name of the movie Larry Charles and bill Maher. Much more close for the meaning would be the word "Veruny" because by creating the neologism "Religulous", the authors were clearly guided by the sarcasm against the religious consciousness. Another one common error when talking about this film is the constant references to atheism and compared with opus (both video and print) Richard Dawkins, meanwhile, throughout the screen time bill Maher nor never set the main question of the philosophy of the primacy of matter or consciousness, Yes, and all theological or actinodaphne issues as a writer, not interested in principle. The problem of the existence or non-existence of God it have no occupies. There are some where a Supreme Being, or none — absolutely not important. His approach to the place of religion in modern society purely utilitarian — it is harmful for his development. Not too exaggerating, the basic idea of the film can be expressed in a couple of sentences: Religion — evil. This ulcer, corroding modern society, a bottomless source of violence and wars, leading mankind in the abyss. And the true tenets of the particular faith or false no has absolutely no value. If humanity has an instinct of self-preservation — it'll get rid of religion, if not — die (or go to a better world).

So, bill Maher does not deny the existence of God. He just not pay attention to it, focusing on human stupidity, which for centuries allowed the most enterprising businessmen from name on behalf of It(or Them) to take his head, forcing him to worship sometimes completely idiotic ideas. In a series of interviews with religious leaders (representatives of various Protestant communities, outright sectarians, Catholics, Jews, Muslims and etc), American comedian tries to give his companions the monkeys, to show their religious views in the worst possible light and, in the end, to make fun of any object of religious worship, caught in field view of the Holy Scriptures to the rites. Sometimes it he manages (do not forget about that the filmmakers had the opportunity to mount the recording of conversations at their own discretion), sometimes not much, but way or otherwise, the purpose of his film, however. Religion in it really is presented in a ridiculous, absurd, and sometimes a terrible form. About the same, and almost the same was made the nineteenth century Leo Taksyly and somewhere in same the direction was antireligious propaganda Department Yemelyan Yaroslavsky.

"Religulous" at the form content addressed to a mass audience. This rude agitation, in which has no sense to use some serious scientific arguments. In her means the real discussions and philosophical debates. With this, ladies and gentlemen, please contact Dawkins. Maher and Charles also say man in his language, as not presenting serious arguments in support of his point of view and trying to play on the most sensitive strings of his (narrow-minded) souls. They say, look! Today you go to the Church (mosque, synagogue), and tomorrow she takes you the house, children, money and life itself. Rude? Of course! Primitive? More than! Effective? And God (Allah, Satan, Alone, Mumbo Jumbo) it knows! For a devoutly religious man all seen in the screen will seem offensive mockery of its sacred symbols (and so it is); for a convinced atheist film will be a clumsy piece of propaganda, useful in principle, but no more... That as for the layman, for whom the Church — no more than Sunday habit and which the authors are trying to convince from it, it I can hardly imagine myself on his place.

So, for all that ideas of Maher and Charles I share wholly and completely (not Faith and against religion, which is not place of modern civilization in any form), in the delight their work me, to put it mildly, not lead. Perhaps the appearance of such a movie, but still under the auspices of a respected Studio "Lion's Gate", — a useful thing. And so the farce  - called "ordinary viewer" will attend with much more pleasure than a scientific lecture, here is only approach g-d authors to his work somehow too much smacks of the very "veronae" against whom they like are. Fight fire with fire? Well, maybe...
