Mystery — is one of the ability to stand out in society. When we know that the man is a mystery; we involuntarily drawn to him like a man not hide it but a huge amount of money. However, it is not forget the secret may be the real bag with the bones, learning about which we are going to regret that has picked the brain of the person that holds this information. So, the main character regret that have learned the secret ex-wife of the groom.

Aristocrat Maximilian de of Withers married modest the quiet girl, the name which not open. He soon drives in your family nest proof. It a young wife, immediately begins to feel at ease. To the fact of her wildly exasperated that all the house is reminiscent of max's late wife Rebecca. The girl immediately begins to suspect that Max is hiding something, and the mystery associated with the death of Rebecca.

I have always been admirer of Alfred Hitchcock and worship because he was able to get the actors in such a way that they did not seem to play, live at the screen. So, the incomparable Joan Fontaine amazingly played the role of a very humble girl, the name which we specifically open for you are constantly worried. Sir Laurence Olivier played Maximilian de winter, a mysterious young man, who at the mention of his dead wife Rebecca is behaving very suspiciously. Not considering the role of Joan Fontaine, another one memorable role was miss Danvers played by Judith Anderson, who embodied, perhaps, one of the most horrible magazines.

Again we see that Alfred Hitchcock — great genius. In "Rebecca," he managed just keep the viewer in suspense, but not even a scare. We know that Rebecca is dead, but Hitchcock shot the film in such a way that seemed to Rebecca to still alive or even worse, returned from the world of the dead. In one moment I thought the film generally can be attributed to the genre of mysticism, but an unexpected ending just threw in shock.

Unfortunately, I have not read the work of Daphne du Maurier, at the motives which was shot this film. So I is difficult to judge the movie about the film adaptation. However, it should still be noted some details of the plot, which influenced the perception of the film. As already mentioned twice earlier, up to the very end, we do not know the name of the main character that it has made favor, because the way I was more worried about Zane, so how it seemed as though she even afraid to say his name. Also it struck me that all the characters were with each other than similar — each image was itself a unique. So, for example, remembered the disgusting image of a brother of Rebecca.

"Rebecca" is not you awarded the Oscar for the best cinematography. Operator George Barnes with their talent, the filmmaker has managed not only to immerse the viewer in a sense of excitement, but also just a scare. Especially remember some moments of his work. For example, I loved the scene in which the camera moved slowly, following the main character, when she quietly entered the Cabinet of the late De winter. This method increased the suspense, the master of which is Hitchcock himself.

In my opinion, "Rebecca", without any doubt, deserves an Oscar and for best editing, since the latter in film was awesome. In the film has a few scenes, the frame rate in which increased the tension. For example, I liked the episode of the arrival of the protagonist in the lock proof when the frame gave way to the view from side view of the main character, capturing the look on her face.

In the film sounded wonderful soundtrack, in which was dominated by a feeling of fear and euphoria. Listening to these unusual notes, you like diving into the world is not the main characters, and world in the Rebecca, because the music seems to hide in itself some secret. In General, for the music, too, could win an Oscar.

Comparing this film with other nominees for the Academy award for the best movie I once again praise the selection of the members of the Academy, because this movie really worthy of this award. In the movie was amazing and intricate plot, which is so and is replete with mystery, brilliant acting, and most importantly, exciting atmosphere that keeps you to the last seconds of the film.

The incredible pleasure I felt after watching this film. The story and script the highest level, and all done well, no a gap. The plot is very addictive and intrigues the viewer. No boring dialogue, no hypocrisy in the acting, all at the highest level. The main charm of this movie game Joan Fontaine, she has deservedly received for this film's nomination. Judith Anderson is just gorgeous. Real charisma shows in her complex role. Laurence Olivier is also perfect, he played very coolly of his character. Striking scenery of this film, the castle is simply beautiful, and he makes this film more characters. Not going to paint the pros and cons, because there are no cons. The result: a Film which deservedly won the Oscar for the best film. The movie kept me in suspense from the start to the end. It turned out a masterpiece of romantic detective, with very good good ending. Hitchcock shot for a little unconventional detective, where is beautifully described in the novel. One of the best films of the "King of cinema".

This is the first Hollywood movie by Alfred Hitchcock, and the only his filmography, was awarded the prize "Oscar" in the category "Best film". The picture is a benchmark of the unique style of the great Director, who was not so much a master of the Thriller, as the inventor of a unique, masterly techniques, is able to attract and hold the viewer's attention, regardless of the genre. These methods are reflected in the best way, because "Rebecca" the famous English writer Daphne Du Maurier, being a great literary work, was a clean romance, but that masterpiece of direction, in which made her Hitchcock — is something. Of stories Cinderella, living in castle family secrets, he did a dark Gothic story with the skeletons in the closets, obsession and the ghosts of the past, filled with a sense of anxious waiting, the elegance and the subtlety of techniques which are ready to evaluate not all, especially accustomed to the rough, convex methods modern Thriller, when instead of the fine dotted line of events drawn in bold marker.

Hitchcock was able to be filled with suspense even such a seemingly normal scene, such as the beginning of the picture, when the future Mrs De winter (Joan Fontaine) is forced to leave with Mrs. van Hopper, but eager to warn you about this Maxim, in whose love, despite the fact that all time less and less. In addition to the expertly written script and excellent directing, from the film is just perfect casting — the great Laurence Olivier perfectly fit into a complex and contradictory character of Maxim De winter, Joan Fontaine with her angelic and comely appearance, devoid of the devil "Ivanovskoe", wild beauty, was the perfect candidate for the role of a timid and humble "the second Mrs. De Vinter", but is the most chic film — it is Judith Anderson, who created a unique image of the demonic Mrs. Danvers. Tension sight, low emotional tools and fascinating, floating gait (Hitchcock for to show Mrs. Danvers the viewer exclusively with the point of view of Mrs. De Vinter) — all this actress played one of the key role in the creation of a unique atmosphere chuchkovskoi "Rebecca".

But the most interesting thing is that mystical disturbing atmosphere created by Rebecca, even never appeared on screen — Director ran nor the flashbacks, not showed us not a single portrait of a lady De Vinter, its image skillfully built exclusively for the frame is very thin medium that created the feeling that her spirit alive watching what is happening. Reward picture 2  Oscars for the best film and cinematography, film Academy made one of the most important offenses that are not awarding no Director or actors, , subsequently, not by bestowing his attention directorial merits of Hitchcock (hard to believe, but the Maestro no none of the directing Oscar), although this work with the adaptation of literary works — truly one of a kind.
