After watching the trailer I was hoping for something more tense and exciting, the more so the genres of Thriller and detective are a priority for me the movie selection. It is likely that I'm expecting too much, but the first minute I was frankly boring.

The film is tightened, the two hours and a half, in which almost nothing happens. It too smooth. As I already have written above, pull just actors. Hugh Jackman coped with his role, the same thing can be said about the others. But even so I have felt no tension. Yes, the final "villain" I guess I could, but and the motivation is not understand.

The ending is not bad, myself the film perfectly demonstrates that happens people they can be, having gone through such a tragedy.

Result. to Watch a movie once you, but review it would I did not.

In captivity a good movie is the viewer, when watching this film. Like the theme of child abduction was already start up to the end investigated. "Goodbye, baby, goodbye", "mystic river", "the Cold light of day", "cleaver" and many other movies has formulated a qualitatively new relationship to the children in the root is paternalistic education. These movies have shown that for the world of children, there is a danger of not less than hunger and disease. And the film is Denis Villeneuve's a great addition to this list of hard thrillers, telling the exploitation of children.

The tape starts with that the humble inhabitants of the suburbs and abducted two young daughters. Starting the search immediately highlight of the suspect, but police can do anything about. A person goes to freedom. Furious in his anger the father of one of girls goes to unauthorized obviously illegal solution to the problem. And then the intuition come to expect moralistic turn with an inevitable reference to the inadmissibility of revenge. And Villeneuve just chuckles. Made all hints the presence of the final template and swerved with the way. Yeah and yet and lovely with the cast did a good job. The main role in fact came out on a feast for the eyes.

To this picture, the whole range of used Hugh Jackman cliche I down to the musical "Oklahoma" and the brutal Wolverine. But here, Jackman is not know. He brutal, responsible and controversial. How thin he is reports of internal feelings and doubts (I didn't think this word will be used by me in relation to Jackman). His desire hero to control his life is not can accept fallen grief. The more interesting will be the final outcome.

The second term success — game Jake Gyllenhal. The actor who achieved popularity after "Donnie Darko" is very pragmatic in the choice of each role and its the filmography is almost no mediocre performances. Each role in something different from previous. Here in the "Captives" he adds (perhaps with the feed Villeneuve) your character is misplaced blink. Those passed the chronic lack of sleep and fatigue. Last time such courage on my memory has given out Steve McQueen in"Bullitt".

Having in its portfolio two trump ACE, Villeneuve not in a hurry to exchange. In the first half on the foreground Jackman, and finally the focus has shifted to Jake. Famous actors playing supporting roles over good, but extravaganza not doing. All check here to the main characters.

Can only recommend viewers to watch this difficult movie. Before us is atypical for the contemporary North American painting. The psychology here is not replaced by tedious moralizing, and is reinforced by the action and quality acting. As the case when you just need to look and to trust the talent of the filmmakers.

I think all fans of the genre are familiar and understandable feeling, when it seems that the revised worthy of a picture, and you're in withdrawal: I want more, high-quality and powerful. In this case, to the selection of the film very carefully and always a pinch of salt (though and with some hope) that have even something you probably missed that may hijack your spirit and impress, as something what you  got hooked.

So, this long prelude about what I'm impressed and very glad that once this film passed me. That one night, I found to savor.

I'm not going to go into the details of the plot (a retelling of the film on the kinopoisk surprise me in principle). Here more about the atmosphere, camera angles and innuendo.

I'm amazed at the humanity, or the"chelovechnosti" heroes in this film. And thus, I'd like to draw attention that is 2013 (and that year of production, filming and even earlier). It is not the last few years with their concerns about emotional intelligence and attention to a personal, subjective, sensitive human life.

I'm fascinated by the acting of Gyllenhaal and simplicity (the grounded), it character. It is not that favorite archetypal story about the superhero saving the world. In there some supernatural powers, especially allocating it among the rest of the force. And even some habits or no external features to make it an image iconic. It simple kohanowski COP, alive and crushed the real stress and responsibility all a carries it work. It has creates a certain level of immersion and empathy.

As, however, and with the hero Jackman, who equally stunning. This two characters living in two very different modalities, both coming true, following the original data of their realities. Jackman — a wonderful actor, I'm happy to see him in dramatic roles, very strong emotionally and psychologically roles where I can see him a real gift.

Well, Paul dano, he's on my opinion, one of the strongest actors of the younger generation. It is a game that fascinates him is somehow manages to manage time and the silence in the frame. In General, the film concentrates on this trio and this trio you go large.

I loved this religious strings and irony, which leaked out on the whole film with the beginning. I enjoyed the allusions and innuendo, cleverly playing with you intellectually and emotionally. And I'm just have fun this inversion and a sobering slap in the face about the humanity and monstrosity.

To the end, you swing the swing. In the place where are you sure like all understand, you understand, but not all. And in this restless tension you join the characters of the movie.

I can say that the history and the motive of the villain is thought very deeply and carefully. But I also can say here — this is important. And that's important such stories in principle. It because we have quite a friend.

I'm absolutely in love with the Duo of Villeneuve and Johan Johannsson and now, it seems even and Gyllenhaal. Again.
