In my subjective opinion the first part of the series was really interesting. Steven Spielberg after watching another horror film said, "I'm still have not seen any one horror movie that would I was scared" and decided to create a film. And him succeeded. Remember my first viewing of "Poltergeist": a truly scary, the film is shot in such a way that when viewing a full-feeling hepi end is not be. And it makes the movie even more attractive. Plus non-standard scenario moves, fast action — all provided for a success.

But the second part, which is not were involved, neither nor Spielberg Hooper, with my point of view, came only "on the fan". Absolutely mediocre script, which the first part is associated only heroes. It turns out that and mom and daughter — both mediums, here is just cleverly hid it! A huge number nedoroscik lines: why the Reverend so I tried to get into home in his material form if he so eventually got there without the invitations? why the psychic says about that some time have lost the gift? why is Taylor up to this dreamed place of burial? and etc.

The key points in the film there is a "God of the machine": first in the form of smoke which is breathed in the Reverend father, then in the form of Taylor, who is nowhere in the burial then — the grandmother that saves her granddaughter, bringing her out of the world. Fantasy writers let us down...

And not scary at all. In General, third-rate horror movie for fans of the genre

Continue films are of two types — try to select. First view — when a new part of a movie is associated the one idea with the previous one (for example, tetralogy "destination": its parts are linked ideologically, but not the plot); the second type — when a new part of a movie continues the story of the previous film (for example, "critters 1-2"). So here, the plot of the movie "Poltergeist 2: the other side" is a direct continuation, as it turned out unfinished in the original film history.

And it should be noted that the continuation, though it does not hold in polishing up to the level of the first part, but static still strong, multi-faceted film. Why versatile? Well, you name the movie "Poltergeist 2" horror — so, nothing about it is not say. Horror — the film, in its conception, but not main part. As the original, the sequel combines in itself at once as the features of unpredictable horror and Comedy and strong drama with a sort of philosophical overtones lurking in the plot of the film.

I.e. in whole the film can be viewed with different sides. People who like movies with a strong plot and philosophical overtones, rejoice with all those thoughts, which leaves the film after viewing. Lovers to cry shed not one tear when watching this. Horrorman also not left out. Yeah and those who like to laugh — had a good laugh. Everyone is guaranteed to find something of their own in this film!

In General, fans of the original will immediately feel the track: the story of the film revolves around the poor family. in the original, which continues to undergo attacks of the evil dead than alive beings (actually, of Poltergeist). In the sequel is not enough only one family member — eldest daughter, and where it is missing — not specified. Well, well, in principle in the original, we it's saw. Perhaps the writers don't know how to put it in the plot of the sequel.

If we talk about the plot element of the sequel more, importantly, need to know — is that the sequel develops, how it always in normal sequels, the concept of the original film, bringing it to mind answering some of our remaining questions after its viewing. However, here the case already an Amateur: don't love the concept, the authors bring to mind, vol. C. some people really like to think out of authors.

Here it is the main problem any kind of sequel to which develops the original concept of the film. Viewers not like that the authors their point of view about the concept of the film make official by releasing a sequel, because and had the impression that the sequel is always worse than the original. But wasn't in it. Most importantly, when the concept of the movie come up and fully think through initially, then all other parts of the film hold on to the same same concept, that's why viewers get more enjoyment from view the "whole" movie ("Lord of the Rings", for example — John. R. R. Tolkien released three books at once). But here is the same "Harry Potter" — the most ill-conceived Saga, with which I once had so obviously not the privilege of meeting, for each part of the book (and further — film) acquires unexpected details about the universe; we see immediately that ideas author's the development of the universe appear to go, but this is wrong, it impossible — a lot more interesting when all has invented originally, but meet we gradually (again, "the Lord of the Rings"!).

Verdict. "Poltergeist 2: the other side" — overall a good movie and, in fact, a strong sequel, but there is already case Amateur: Yes, the sequel accumulates in itself all the best that was the original, but I extends the concept that not all people will have the soul. It is the only significant negative of the film.

The sequel to the most terrible for me in the film "Poltergeist" appeared after 4 years after the original, and is recognized by many as the best film of the series. However, the same IMDB demonstrates low scores, why? Yes, in my opinion, just a movie to understand this is not everyone. People need consumer goods: zombies, freaks, viruses, vampires and werewolves... and sorry.

Very sorry that similar movies unjustly wronged spectators wishing to consumer goods, not able to appreciate in horror movies is the most important — atmosphere! The suspense of the film, there is nothing is more important than it, the tension, the expectation, music Wade bone terrible dramatic moments, sending us monsters, monsters, maniacs... or something more mysterious and horrible, invisible. Poltergeist!

The sequel to nothing to do have no Tubes Hooper nor Steven Spielberg. It immediately felt at the opening theme and opening credits. The film has begins inspirational somehow sluggish. Where same powerful prologue? Where the highlight, for which film are interested and begin to watch?

The composer first, the same, second for his shoulders so much of the music for masterpiece of it may indeed be called great, but here is the music in this film as it is not very successful, have a pretty good atmospheric moments and sounds, but generally quite weak. And the less sound and visual effects are very good, powerful, sharp howl, and realistic scary visuals — do my thing, enter in the creepy atmosphere of the film and keep a great tension.

Very pleased with the appearance of all the same of the characters already Polubinskaya zabavchik in soul the first film is diluted a new type of characters of the Indian and grandmother. Actors like those same. The girl is incredibly pretty, and a bit matured. The old priest in black here of course pulls more attention to yourself, much like "the Undertaker" from Phantasm 1979. Actor Julian Beck played amazing, its so bright eerie appearance did the trick, giving the film a creepy atmosphere.

Look really eyes. The first 20-25 minutes of the film are somehow sluggish and slow, except perhaps that the appearance of the man in black. The lack of any mystique and mystery, in addition to it, very depressing. But with the advent of well-made zombies to get to place. The dead appear so suddenly, effectively, and quickly, just remember the spirit of the first film and growing hope that then all be best traditions!

Scene with beautiful butterflies, amazing. Scene, music, idea. But not the butterfly. Where did the budget? No to this kind of music to make a vivid scene, with gently fluttering colorful and bright butterflies, delicate like the petals of a rose, really admirable heart. Good then only idea and sound design, in General the implementation could be much better.

But the Indian any of the beginning of the film in the prologue, with each of his new appearance begins to cause all more and more admiration. A wise helper, a mentor, like Lord Rayden in"Mortal Kombat" Paul Anderson. A great character, a lot of important and useful things says, so we need to listen not characters and the audience watching the film. Very outstanding highlight of the script.

Dialogues in the film a bit, and facing only of the lips of the Indian to explain those or other phenomena, in the rest of not already such vivid phrases as in the first part, and the film seems a bit lengthy, so as there is the creepy atmosphere in many scenes, which was on the first film. Here the suspense is not all the timing, but only certain scenes.

The effects of monsters not bad, but far behind creepy creatures/ghosts of the first part. Here is pretty spectacular zombie, but a rather unsavory crowd of ghosts around the house. Well done a spectacular final monster, but all the same, inferior to all creatures is the first "Poltergeist".

The final scene is pretty good, a lot of pathos, heroism, poetry, in General, pretty good. But unlike the first part — the effects look poor. Than to end the film the modern viewer will know quite, no final twist, shocking turns, but the film finished in the best tradition of American horror films. Much better than any "Amritvela".

In the end we have a pretty good sequel, which is quite hard and bright is eclipsed by an outstanding atmospheric original. The second part on the right is weaker, but the less atmospheric good.
