The last film of bond Director John Glen, and also starring Timothy Dalton. It turned out, by the way, not like all the other parts. Little action. More dialogues, and not always appropriate. To describe it you how good Thriller of the late eighties. Not bad but and nothing outstanding.

What we liked so it is the surprise of the hand-picked actors. Personally for me I was glad to see the Talis Soto and Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa also played together in one of favorite movies of my childhood "Mortal Kombat". Plus a very young Benicio Del Toro has also been very impressive. However, as always.

The film itself looks decent. At this ends the era of the old (so to speak) films about the bond, and begins a new — with Pierce Brosnan. That watch is definitely worth it.

The first film about James bond is not removed in the same book.

Here there is crazy billionaires who dream of world domination, no fanatical dictators with the same objective and first. There is only a bond, obsessed with vengeance, disobey and lost the status of "00".

Michael J. Wilson and Richard Maibaum gave the series fresh blood. We are talking about the character of bond and unmatched game about Timothy Dalton. In the previous film "the living daylights out of eyes" of the above-mentioned writers do not know who will be the role of bond and wrote the script under the comical image of Roger Moore, but at the time of filming, he turned 60 years and Dalton debuted. Then there were the inconsistencies in the character of agent 007. And here in this painting, Dalton gave 100! He literally got into that the show us best of the bond films of all time. So also worth mentioning that in "License to Murder" 007 appears before us in a completely different way, so to speak, is his "the dark side".

P. S. sorry, very Sorry that the most talented of 007, then there is Timothy Dalton, who was born true late in this series.

In this film, the Studio made the first attempt to move away from the usual image of James bond 60-80-ies.

First, change the scene — no longer no saving the world from some supervillain, bond is driven by a sense of vengeance. Corny, You say? Perhaps, but with the the background stories about the flooding of Silicon valley all flights on the Shuttle, the story looks quite good and even a bit realistic (as possible in the James bond films).

Second, the image of the villain. Villains always complement the image of bond, because no matter how cool mad villain is not was, bond always easily defeated them, respectively, the more mad villain — the more victory over them once again defines the steepness of the bond. In this series villain is the most common Latin American drug Lord on behalf of Sanchez, and even without pretensions of some of the Katanga "Live and give to die another", which I remember wanted to plant the whole of America drugs. In this case, Sanchez, the common criminal is a businessman who's only interested in profits and protecting their investments in the drug from authorities.

Third, for the usual James bond film is pretty cruel — anyway, it first until the last bond has received an R rating (though then the most violent moments were cut for the mitigation of the rating).

On the other hand, this series is not departed completely from the canons — gadgets (albeit less than usual quantity) are present, there's a Q  & Manny penny, there are jokes...

Of all the movies bond, this turned out to be one of the most controversial — he has collected less than all the James Bond movies in the box office, and many viewers think it is one of the most boring and uninteresting in James Bond films. But there another opinion — the opinion of the Director and some fans who consider this film the best film about the bond of the 70's era — 80s.

From my point of view, the "License to murder" is quite a worthwhile film that stands out in a number of similar films of James Bond the times to say the first attempt (blowing and commercially unsuccessful) to breathe in the franchise's fresh blood and to return to her former spectator interest, which was ultimately implemented only after 17 years output screens Casino Royale.
