The story of Danny Greene, American gangster Irish descent, in the 70's crushed under almost all of Cleveland. He became a key figure in mafia wars the time has survived several assassination attempts.

Crime drama based on a true story. Danny green, a man rose from the bottom who became the leader of the underworld of Cleveland in the 70s. It is not like the Italian mafia that led to a real war. In fact, the film is not the most outstanding. A very modest budget, because of which a large part of the action drawn on the computer. Yeah and visual rather.

But who draws a picture to itself is a ray Stevenson. He plays perfectly the image of a charismatic and cool guy. How people green not the most pleasant, but thanks to the charm of Stevenson him even empathize. Yeah and the second plan have a picture good: Val Kilmer, Vincent D'onofrio, Christopher Walken, Vinnie Jones. Although Stevenson here, of course, all pushes.

Strong crime drama for actual events. In General, very average, but looks at much thanks to a decent cast, especially ray Stevenson.

Danny green — the legendary American gangster, famous not only for his uncompromising character, but and rare skill to get out alive from the most seemingly hopeless situations. It is surprising that the life of this strange man no one it head to film before, although the book Rick Porrello was published in 1998.

The ancestors of the film's Director, Jonathan hensleigh, according to all, a native of Ireland, indicating his last name, and the use of elements of the Irish epic in the film. The picture is constructed as a description of the life of the Gaelic hero, is lowered only to the birth. In the rest of the old Irish script exactly is embodied in the film: growing up, my first feat, marriage and advent children, fight with opponents, getting relics, the new girlfriend, the approach of trouble, death. The hero is given a lot of: strength, intelligence, loyal friends — but, instead, on it imposed a Geis (a prohibition), violating that he will surely die. In case Danny green geys can be expressed by the phrase "don't get behind the wheel of a car". And while all Danny's life leads to an inevitable logical conclusion, most importantly — this road, endpoint from all the same.

Kaki and supposed Irish hero, green little attention to appearance, so it differs from his impressive fellow Nardi, and from the elegant, burns seemed to be designed to embody on the screen the audience's stereotypes about how should look like a real gangster. About the Italian boss of the new York say not have them. the images drawn, almost caricatured. But in the battle green is harsh and sometimes even cruel. Ray Stevenson brilliantly coped with the role of an ancient warrior in shabby sweat pants, it is unknown how and why he found himself in the center of turf war.

Aside from the Irish themes, to say that the work of Jonathan hensleigh no out of several other films on heavy gangster's fate — but do not miss gives, involving the viewer in a game of "Who will kill Danny Greene?". When another attempt ends in failure, the viewer experiences something like gloating, because the main advantage of "Irish" — not plot not a stellar cast, and the image of the protagonist, desperate, unwavering, ruthless, but very charming and even cute.

Music by Patrick Cassidy, as the icing, decorate this juicy Sunday KinoSTART, and if you don't like neither Ireland, no movies gangsters, download at least soundtrack.

Will you think the Irish luck can save you?

Here, for the first time in a long break, back for the pen and that means I do not too lazy, that have a little time and what most importantly — I scanned the movie is deserve.

Flipping through reviews  'Irish' in front of it watching, I found absolutely motley reviews — from a complete lowering of the cast and a script to the construction of the film in the title of one of the best in its genre, and especially since he came to me like.

Just want to warn the reader that the Irish I are absolutely, positively, and love the people and all it — from a warlike, proud of the spirit and strong core — before the national green, charming red hair and welcoming, cheerful disposition. As all time it was a joy to me presented in this film. But will also a little objective.

So, we have a film based on real events and taken by the plot of the book Rick Porrello "Kill the Irishman". I must say that I have not read, so sit back and compare how and who is there that distorted not going. Go directly to the film. a film I liked — it has a soul. It is not just a biopic, it art biographical film, and that means all dodumki the author does not just forgivable, they need for completeness to the banal crime of the 70's to make criminal emotional drama of the 70s. my eyes of an Amateur, all managed to fame.

Vintage style, plausible, I — believe! All modestly, may be sparingly (you can blame at this low budget, and can find the pros), and main — tasteful. Wonderful the atmosphere of the 70s in America, great passed this a bloody war in  the"City of bombs". Without pathos, without clutter, almost biographical, almost simply, as life and happen.

A good cast, all was on their places and did great.

Ray Stevenson was particularly pleased. the role of the Irish could take only an Irishman! There again appears my biased, maybe, but I can not to get the fact that this nation wins in the heart of fear, and the undeniable nature of war, the power of the spirit. Not will present historical facts and statements proving my words, those who are interested, will find all itself without work. I just want to say in this digression that they certainly give of ourselves to know the Lord, and when I sat down to watch this movie, I that imagined Danny green — Irish good and humane guy, a strong spirit, which America had hardened, but not broken up to the very end. Have Stevenson is appeared in all posture and look who knows, can so good to play this role helped him Irish roots? So thank you to the Director for ray Stevenson, and Stevenson — a green and for a great game. This is undoubtedly his role.

The musical accompaniment is perfect. And thanks to Patrick Cassidy for this.

My grades never explain anything, I actually lost when this 10-point scale, according to me as better to shorten it times two and all will be much easier. For me the movies are divided into those I liked it stung for live — this 5 those do not like — this 1 and those even worse, when not know that you feel — is a 3.

"the Irishman," I put no oscillation

of 10 10

and let reviews him arguing with each friend, because everyone will remain at his. I say finally that everyone is looking for his movie, that in spirit close. (And in fact taste and color as you know, the markers are different) So that Irish — my film. we're watching you, my dear reader, who knows, maybe he will be yours.
