It will be very surprising if someone will stumble on this movie because it is nobody knows what I sure. A film with a strange name, which one translator has titled as "Freestylers" (most right on my opinion), even in the US is not so is known, according to the number of evaluations imdb.com.

Despite all this movie is one of the iconic comedies of the 80s, the clearest example of youth films of the time. Apparently, then, these paintings were at flow enjoyed great popularity. Something similar happened in the first half of the century when American pie came out. With this began a new wave of youth comedies in which he appeared as a good tape (Eurotrip, Harold and Kumar, the Neighbor, the king of the party), so bad (Commotion in the Dorm, American pie 4,5, Where my car, dude).

In the 80s iconic film was Porky's (1982), because at the lack of a coherent plot pattern could be repeatedly pay off. I think it is clear that followed. I looked different Comedy that era, I came across a really interesting paintings, such as Driver's license (1988) the Breakfast Club (1985), Vagabond (1985). However, it is plotless work too. And how I think "Hot Dog... The Movie!" belongs to the latter.

The whole plot in that Harkin (the main character) rides in Squaw valley on the championship ski freestyle, in the path meets a girl, then not can defeat the main villain in the competition along the way gets involved in a love triangle and after we will find a standard ending.

The problem with this film is not even the plot or lack thereof. All trouble that it is terribly boring. Well, it's a youth Comedy, it's meant to be fun, the viewer is necessary as-that to surprise, to entertain. Not know how demanding was the audience for the time. Maybe then the target audience and was pleased, but now it is clear that the test of time "Freestylers" don't have passed. Although the story here is bigger than Private school (1983), which resembled a jumble for adults.

The only through which the film may travel, so it is a scene of nudity. It here is everywhere, even in places where without you can do. By the way, here shone a young Shannon tweed., which appeared in all its glory. Here her nice to see. Nice shot, but to see similar in the movie skiers strange. Just do not understand about than this story when I see events is absolutely not no impact , but in which a lot of nudity. Beginning to doubt that watching a Comedy.

But maybe the skiing will be interested. Scene of freestyle and slope Chinese slope removed so on a high level (for its time). Maybe you need to be a skier to appreciate it film.

On the one hand it was interesting to have a look at model the era, feel the spirit  ' 80s, but another — the spectacle is a boring if you want to see some Comedy those years, it is better to choose a different movie.
