Don't need to be a prophet to predict the release of the next film from the line "God is not dead." The third Chapter in the conservative Evangelical franchise, known for its uncompromising adherence combat position: previous films exhibited atheists some demons and almost blatantly and shamelessly carried in the masses the idea of "Christianity — is good". In the first film, God proved that it is not dead, through dialogues conscientious student-a Christian with an atheist Professor. In the second film Christian teacher appears in court for that he dared to teach the children religious things. In other words, "God is not dead" — interesting propaganda, at least, forcing to watch it in order to believe that such films do exist. And here they released "Light in the darkness" and it was even hard to accept, but the drop in quality came to the series "God's not dead." The movie remains a blatant promotion of Christianity, and in a wild, where there is only black and white in the framework of the discussions among the Presbyterian middle class of the United States.

The action "Light in the darkness" takes place in some universe of fantasies of the famous Russian atheist Alexandr Nevzorov say: Christian it can send in jail for the failure to share the texts of the sermons with the government. And someone else defiles the Church. And an evil University administration expels from an educational institution of the preachers. Yeah and all the characters speak the following phrases: "science replaced superstition, the Church has outlived its usefulness". What the Church itself is not has become obsolete, and is the main argument for the existence of "Light in the darkness", though everything is less dramatic than in the previous two films. In the main plot interfering additional lines: for example, the story of the student who broke up with boyfriend because of opposing religious beliefs; romance of the monk with some Meg. Moreover, the returning heroes of the first film, and Reverend Dave, how and the sequel, shows a Messiah complex. In short, the "Light in the darkness" is striking in its propaganda Comedy; this film the category of those where the lawyer is approaching the pastor at the altar (!), to ask him to stop.

The problem with this film, as, indeed, and other franchise, "God's not dead" in that tape no aims to overcome the unbelief or to attract more supporters. So naive films hardly will be able to convince someone in the adoption of Christianity in the quality of life and philosophy, especially if we are talking about the American kind of Christianity promoted by the "Light in the darkness". Their goal was to to reinforce the idea of protection of fundamentalists in the US, they reason proclaimed his property. The film does not hide his intentions, so hardly it will be interesting to someone from the Russian spectators: the issues raised in the film, not very clear to us that, in the end, reduces the relevance, value and turns "Light in the darkness" in a carefree low-quality drama.

Nothing mind movies Christianity: it is an important part of the culture and it requires competent disclosure in the film (see "Silence" Scorsese). However, it is difficult to imagine a viewer of the series "God's not dead" — unless some overly zealous American evangelists-fundamentalist. The third film in the line is much sillier than the previous one on your premise and even more aggressive. No one of characters impressed — this is just some zombie that generate negativity. What W, "Light in the darkness" intended only for meet the tastes of a narrow layer of the film industry — Christians who believe that they unjustly persecuted in the United States, and, of course, indulgent moviegoers who prefer to see the product, subordinate to the formula "so bad that even good".
