This is not the frequent case where the sequel surpassed the original. The second part was more witty, more interesting and lively. Although money on the production of the film was spent in times less than, say, feels less meticulous drawing of wool. But not the most important thing in the film. The atmosphere, the mood in General and the film leaves a "pleasant aftertaste".

This time it was brilliantly performed by the writer of "spongebob" and Director of "Muppets in space" team hill. The second part takes place in London Garfield, randomly changes places with their aristocratic cat twin, rich heir of Royal blood. The story is "Prince and beggar" in the Garfield interpretation.

Really amazing how the creators of the second part managed to persuade bill Murray, after not very good, first part, for participation in the continuation of the adventures the cat Garfield. Yes, and the cat was more cynical, I here he is like.

After not quite successful first film about the Garfield, it was difficult to disengage from him in watching "the story of two kitties" (slogan so and did hit the spot: under one of "cats" is obviously meant Garfield). Contrary to my expectations, "Garfield second" was better than the first. Though got rid of a huge proportion of "childishness" — personally, I have always been irritated by the caricature of the negative characters (in this case — hero Billy Connolly). But added action. Yeah and the theme of "Prince pauper", I think, is very interesting in itself.

The cat has become more cynical, more rustic oddie and John less savvy (not to distinguish your cat from others, though of the other "class" — a rare gift). If there were sequels, I think, to Garfield that way to  the"fifth" all would match the original.

Taking into the fact that the film is forced to reconsider the attitude to "kingargyle", I can recommend to a wide audience. In addition

"One head — well and two is better" Russian proverb. It and about Garfield. One Garfield — well and two is better. To the same "Garfield 2: a tale of two cats" turned out to be more interesting and just better than the first part.

The disadvantage of the first "Garfield" was a primitive story, in which lazy cat saved its not quite another puppy who got lost on his fault. In"Garfield 2" scenario more interesting, with lots of jokes, funny situations, with young and abuse Dargis, which resemble both, and  the "Well, pogodi!". Ko all this was added various "Royal" services provided by the red cat, which is a must see.

Garfield and rather Garfields. Describing its(their) I hard to resist childish enthusiastic shouts. Garfield — insanely pretty, fluffy, cute, witty (even though people may not understand words), gluttonous, narcissistic and overly pleased with himself. Handsome, friendly and lovely. Three words — the cat of my dreams. Prince — fussy, spoiled, aristocratic, and same selfish pretty. This red and hairy given the majority of the time that the movie is just a plus.

In addition to the two red cat, in"Garfield 2" assembled a whole menagerie of which some animals are not less enthusiasm and emotion than the main furry characters. Black male, snarling at Dargis "Pants!", "chubby" and"slobbering" on the definition of the Garfield bulldog, a parrot in disgust, resent being in house with the barnyard; — the most striking and memorable representatives of this zoo.

The human characters John and Liz, which the first "Garfield" looked flat and uninteresting, and went on to the second plan that hides the shortcomings of their images. Instead, the main character from the people became angry and disgusted with Mr. Dargis who wants to get rid of the Prince to seize the castle, which is a colorful and interesting character. Well, not pay attention to the Butler, Hossegor and nurturing the Prince, regardless of the fact it's real or not, and caring him as about your grandson.

"Climbing — not a simple dish. This way of life!"

Lots of laughter, childish joy and a huge dose of emotion from the two Garfields, two dogs and a parrot calls "Garfield 2: a tale of two cats". I love it. For 9 10.
