My acquaintance with Chet was 13 years ago when I began to look for interesting Internet radio on live365 and online got radio Classic Jazz Corner. Not know more than I primanita, voice or trumpet. I know for sure that after a few songs I became wait for it songs. Dokumentaciju under the name of Let's Get Lost 1988 I missed, but when I heard that movie came out I always wanted it to look. Reasons for display in that it's a movie about my favorite jazz musician and the starring Ethan hawke.

Start with Ethan Hawke. Actor with this role was the perfect fit! I believe that he's acting and outwardly embodied the image. Not know whether a fan of Baker himself Ethan, but on his way I think he worked very well. It by the way he took lessons on game pipe shots in the film. The tragedy of the image transmitted to them good performance of the repertoire of the Couple emotionally and sufficiently expressive so that I had pleasure. The actress who played the role of the Muse and mistress, too, coped with the role.

For about the Director's work is not can unfortunately nothing to say. But the video I like.

Why I think this film had to be removed? Because Chet Baker not a simple musician, he is a legendary performer who became a great already in his lifetime! Yeah and films in addition to Let's Get Lost about it seems not there.

Not going to put points, but say that this film needed and very well that it was removed. Thanks to those who he worked! To viewing at least once I recommend, think you will not regret the time spent.

Biographical drama "Born for sorrow" Robert Boudreau has all the chances to become more an anthem for the era of jazz mid-century. Ethan hawke, visually similar to his on-screen hero, Chet "Cat" Baker, was an ideal candidate for this role in any way. For Boudreau, as for the Director, the film became only the second full meter in his career drama 2006 "a Life for a life" boasts an impressive festival only rental. Conversely, for Ethan Hawke, shot at a great movie even 90 made in time in many good medium of movies like "timecop" or"Judgment night", "Born for sorrow" had all the reason to become vivid personal work in the category of art film. The film received limited release in North America and festivals world that itself not bad, but this melodramatic biopic worthy more clearly.

Your feed Boudreau and hawk display in plain dusky sensual drama. They show the history of love by Chet Baker and Jane (gleaming beauty Carmen Ejogo) the history of attempts to return a big musician in the jazz world. Yes, Baker was once the value of the caliber of miles Davis or dizzy Gillespie. He not wanting one of locomotives of jazz in the second half of the 60s turned into a kind of retro, in literally toothless, confused, technique, style, and back with joy the same miles in the dark closet of history. So "Born for sorrow" more tape is not about willpower and the desire to return to the big show-business, and about the role of women in the salvation of insanely talented, but drug-addicted men.

Acting Hawke in this tape is the boundless magic, which is capable of only living one life with a Baker screen actor. Constantly come with rails, nematodirinae Baker is not like the adequacy of the lost guy. Have no nothing but music and Jane. In past — the famous Birdland club in new York, present — a little van, Jane, and restore yourself artist the ocean. Robert Boudreau no steps lyric, sentimental and even corny in displaying the image of the Baker, this knight cool jazz, go to return which believe not only Jane, but still the bosses of the sound recording and concert impresario.

"Born for sorrow" rather confirms the public choice the axiom of the self-destruction of the great creators of art than some kind of faint hope. In biografie Baker not it was a miracle cure drug addiction in the film Boudreau no miracle the full touch of the legendary. And nor any eyebrows Ethan Hawke to this creep is not possible. There is only a simple poetic story in which the emotion, the poignancy and the fragility smear the jazz drive. A high no drive, so the band says.
