Another extraordinary painting by Richard Linklater, and extended the script Ethan Hawke — "Before sunset" — not just a film, it is something more. The plot of "rushes" through the prism of 9 years since the main characters have faced in Vienna fate. Everything happens so quickly, but in the same time so vividly that we have time to see any details; it becomes clear that they're not needed. There is only a deep feeling that thin thread running through the whole arcade discussions on different topics, there are only two that have to stay together, that is not give it feeling. A different outcome I don't see. Not want to sublimate such indescribable plot analysis, you just want to feel, feel as well as do the main characters.

The film is clearly nonsense genre, in it erased all boundaries and frame, creates the impression that we are not in time and in space, although the time of heroes is regulated, Yes. the audience can often hear the movie "9 years". But it's just words that do not interfere with people to be the same same guys who have dated for a long time. What they did not say, but it is felt that they want to put their relationship in a framework — temporal, territorial, religious. They want magic, they him in deep down believe. The film brings in a huge sense — true love without the boundaries, faith in the miracle to the horizons. A symbiosis of feelings, emotions, desire, magic — all hands Linklater, Hawke and Delpy, who defended the right of the great filmmakers.

Still, isolation is not clear, we remain puzzled at the connection that Linklater in again asks — what happens. Here you really want to believe that happens the magic and answer — Jesse and Celine will stay together!

"Before sunset" — the second part is a wonderful story of two people who met once in a train compartment and spent the whole day together, in a strange city, revealing each other's souls. I must say, both very nice for safe, cozy, home. But and mood atmosphere of them varies considerably.

The second part shows how change of person with age, changes views life. What values were important for the characters? Work, family, career, something truly global. Now the topic of conversation more mundane, pragmatic, devoid of dreams. The harsh truth of life. Romance thrown in a party, Jesse and Celine have set themselves specific goals. They know what you want. But know what never become suffer from it.

And meeting nine years later, like opens before them new perspectives, forces us to admit existing problems, regret of lost youth and ease of decisions. This meeting opens for them a second wind, a chance to speak. And can not in vain they are unhappy with their current halves? It seems, after spending some time together, Jesse and Celine realize their fates are on the verge of a split, hanging on by a thread. If the first meeting of the whole world has been in front of them, then it now down to routine banality. The heroes realize that they share much more. After all, where you can still find someone totally understands you, with whom you can just talk, to share, not meet with a wall of misunderstanding.

Unlike the first part of this movie was too short and the end is ambiguous, ragged, what I don't really liked it, but he makes you believe that the heroes make the right decision. But if not, though we exchanged phone numbers.

- You late your plane
- I know...

Richard Linklater managed to the appropriate level to curb rare for Hollywood experience — to continue the story of the romantic Comedy years after the first acquaintance with its heroes. I'll tell you that "Before sunset" is hard to read as a separate independent project and the audience is not familiar with the first film of the series, at risk to receive a substantial portion of emotions. Walk in the sunset Paris will provide you with positive mood the magic already familiar characters, written numerous dialogues, plays an important value in the General perception of what is happening. Therefore, I suggest to consider the film as a new page in the relationship of Jesse and Celine.

For large, before us the story of one day, not burdened by contrived twists and turns of the plot. The final, albeit purely formal, the countdown here concerns not so much important events as the return to normal life. Jesse, now have a successful writer, at first, not believe his eyes, returning it for nine years in the past. The meeting of the people, it would seem, has long lost any possibility of again at least to see, have produces a romantic effect. This, albeit so shaky, the reunion will surely remind the viewer of their own lost opportunities, the words unsaid care about us people. Although the claim that in the film, everyone will find something of themselves, considered to be a trivial and very common, it is perfectly characterizes the work of Linklater, in all that touches of romantic relationship experiences.

If "Before the dawn" showed us a sudden outbreak of feelings the acquaintance of young people, new meeting Jesse and Celine in a good sense, it's like a conversation between two former spouses. As exactly the communication length is just one day and nine years of separation, allow them to openly Express their thoughts, fears and anxiety. While on the background give way to picturesque views of Paris, the characters once again share my innermost thoughts that normally people keep to yourself. At this constant hopping from subjects in the topic makes the dialogue more casual. Literally felt a tangible predominance of improvisation. Ethan hawke and Julie Delpy's acting very relaxed, as if the film was really filmed for single day — they rest in frame is passed to the spectator — the meeting of old friends.

You probably will be surprised at the fact that the Eiffel tower perhaps the most recognizable symbol of Paris, appears in the film only in as a fleeting mention. Greater emphasis is placed on meaningful conversations of the characters, strolling not according to plan, and on a whim. Narrow streets of the French capital, a cozy family cafe, a pleasure boat. Thus, we carry away not even tourist routes for the exception types in the Notre Dame Cathedral. Along with this, the atmosphere of the most romantic cities in the world, as called Paris, perfectly emphasizes the reunion of the main characters. This full of hope and meaningful relationship to the life of the film, a time for which goes unnoticed.
