Children and very high-tech movie that climbs on the shoulders of the classic animated film in order to appear taller and prettier. However, these attempts to look simple greed of today's leaders of the Studio "Disney": despite modernized plot, realistic digital Rudyard Kipling's heroes, operation of the famous melodies of "the jungle Book" in 1967 and even educational pathos, the film is similar to the result of processing of some of the sociological survey on the topic "How would you like to see a children's movie, for example, captured by "the jungle Book"?". At this movie there is no warmth, no joy, and some two-dimensional 3-D ordinariness.

By the way, parasitizing on such famous songs as "The Bare Necessities" and"I WAN na Be Like You" not only violates the style of the whole tape, making it a "netmusic", but and doing is secondary to attempt to adapt the old stories. These new images will soon be forgotten, and the characters of "the jungle Book" 1967 will not survive another one generation of children.

However, the cash collected — the deed is done.

I admit, when I heard that the Disney Studio is going to make a full CG a remake of their classic cartoon, I received this news with skepticism. The original animated film of 1967 was perhaps one of my favorite creations of Disney, and I was afraid that the updated version will rise in a row with a widespread cynical modern Hollywood projects that play on the strings of nostalgia. But "the Jungle Book" — a good example of that even the toughest commercial imperative and greed can be overcome, if he is the project will be imbued with love and creativity.

The first few scenes of the unsophisticated audience thinks "the Jungle Book" looks (and sounds!) just like the legendary animated version in 1967. That the Mowgli, Sher Khan, Bagheera and Baloo, the Python Kaa and the monkey king. But in every scene of the film, Director Jon Favreau and screenwriter Justin marks has enriched the narrative, could deepen the theme (sometimes not quite children) and increase tension. Growing up Mowgli is shown more brightly now; game on the contrast between his human "tricks" and savagery of the jungle. Please note: this version of "the Jungle Book" offers a more dark and frightening vision of all the known history. In other words, when Sherkhan asked the wolf pack "How many lives is a human child", it is not means the question is rhetorical.

Some heroes have changed a lot. For Example, King Louis. And is not matter what not him or his "public life" is not have been changed. He still then sings "I Wanna Be Like You", despite all racial awkwardness of the scene. Why the producers decided that this value should be the heritage of the brand Disney? At least would as compensation, king Louis turned orangutan in a huge conga with the habits of the Colonel Kurtz of"Apocalypse now" that completely changing the idea of this character, causing an awkward feeling.

The emphasis of the film was made in CGI, which expands the boundaries of the possible in the moment, "the Jungle Book" is almost on the peak of modern technical splendor. But and for the role of Mowgli in Neel Sethi is really good. Especially when you consider that the whole picture was built around him (only, in fact, the "live" actor on the set). Boy Mowgli embodies perfectly up to cutting red diaper. Yeah and if you consider that a 10-year-old Neel Sethi is found in this digitized world with almost same challenges and the hero DiCaprio in"the Survivors", then Mowgli managed to 100%.

Unfortunately, the film is not without flaws. To these include, for example, the motivation of the characters and talked tarnishing of the characters (I admit, if I read the source, that I'd had not, why so Bagira strive to help Mowgli; Yes and the emergence of Kaa only few minutes). Many of the shortcomings can be forgiven, because the film oriented in the first to children, but it is so called "message", but originally laid in the original work.

Conclusion: though "the Jungle Book" and not the best adaptation of the animated film in"live action", it is a good enough film to spend on your time.

After seeing the trailer, I was just convinced get a smart film, well, or at least simply good! However, all it was quite the opposite. So why would start... I'll start with the pros of the work: for me it is very little. Of the explicit can only distinguish the picture, well open the Ball and made snake awesome. Everything else: characters, attempts to play dramatic scenes, the game is the only actor, all it's disgusting. Yes, it is disgusting! On all the drama I looked with indifference, if shampoo look; trying to play they absolutely not able to transmit the desired wave to the audience. The characters look just fine, but no sympathy, no experience or concern for their fate even have never visited. Watched on channel on the animals transmission recently, duck my a Zebra, which was paid on 15 minutes of shooting experienced in many times more than for any character in this film. Actor me and is infuriated most of the film. Hardwood — this would putting it mildly. He none at all. False solid false, the entire the road. And it not to mention that film — filming has already existing paintings! Is it really impossible to do everything for good? Just Awful. Out of theater a terrible mood. Even at once do not pull the film. But drawing — top class. All is my personal opinion, of course, look, make your own, but not expect special.
